We went for lunch and my boyfriend was amazed and full. The place is not luxurious but it fulfills its purpose.

Great little place up some steps. Vibrant decor. friendly staff and a wide choice of vegetarian food on the buffets - both hot and cold.

I had a few days by myself before my family arrived and I decided to try this amazing little buffet! The service was excellent and the food refreshing. Do yourself a favor and walk east of the Malecon to Planeta Vegeteriano!

After spending much more on meals at fine dining restaurants we found Planeta Vegetarianio on our last day--what shame! The food is fresh, well-prepared, and creative. My carnivore partner said it was among the best veggies he's ever had.

After five days in Mexico I was desperate for some fresh vegetables. We found this place while walking the malecon boardwalk. A very casual buffet of fresh ingredients and creative vegan versions of Mexican staples. Soy mole, potato tacos, mushroom chiccarones, vegan posole- all delicious and a bargain at $7 (including drinks and desserts). I wish my hotel were closer... More

Good buffet and value. Cute and quaint spot and located centrally. We have enjoyed lots of dishes here . Plus the buffet makes it easy for you to choose what you like and there is both a salad bar and hot bar. I like the juices they make as well. This is both vegan and vegetarian friendly. A great spot... More

An average vegetarian is used to being able to choose only a couple items off the average menu. We're also used to the irritated glares from waiters when we ask for a dish 'sin carne'. So it's nice to enter a place in which every option is open, and where a variety of tasty and colorful dishes are ready and... More

I went here with a vegan friend. It was surprisingly good. For 105 pesos, you have your fill of food, plus drink, and dessert. There's a cold food section and a hot food section. There's some Mexican fare (rice, beans, potato taquitos, mole), but also interesting cold salads. Even if you're not vegetarian, it's a good choice if you're looking... More
