You'd call this a hole in the wall, an off the beaten path place that most would walk past. However, the chicken mole was the best food I ate on vaca, and the margarita was as well. Sure, I like the whole package, good eats, good location, good atmosphere. But the owners waits on you, his brother cooks and the... More

Our flight was delayed two hours so we arrived at Garlands del Rio B&B at 7:30 pm. We went across the street to La Ronda to see what they were offering. A few diners were already there. We had shrimp and fish under white sauce with rice, which was quite delicious. They served toast with it. We had flan for... More

We heard about this tiny restaurant from a friend and went out of our way to find it. Glad we did! Real home cooking ( the home is attached to the restaurant), and all freshest ingredients. My wife and I both had the chicken mole. A great choice, a house favorite. I hope we can go back to try the... More

The food is excellent. We had a "street side" table and it was great. This is a very small but well known restaurant. Well worth finding this hidden gem.

First off, my usual full and complete disclaimer: I am an older, overweight, U.S. male who is strictly a meat and potatoes guy. I like food and the larger the portions, the more I like it. I do not like my food smothered in sauces, as I want to taste the flavor and texture without it being disguised by sauces/liquids.... More

This is the second time we've dined at La Ronda and we recommend it highly. We were seated immediately and a napkins placed across our lap. We were provided with an appetizer of totopos, poco de gallo and guacamole and asked our choice of beverage. There is quite a variety on the menu. I ordered Coq au Vin at 165... More

We have been coming here for more than 20 years, and just the fact it has remained here with great food is amazing. Mom and dad run the place. Sebastian is back from Canada as the Maître D' (Eddie is on vacation), and the flan is the best as always. (We have tried the flan at many places in PV;... More

Despite its streetfood eating-place ambience, the food here is great and this is really a fine-dining establishment. Once again we had the outstanding tortilla soup, but also tried for the first time the chiles rellenos, which were terrific. The flavors are delicate and tasty so don't let its appearance put you off; come in and have some really good food.... More

Family run, Chef was chef at the Camino Real years ago. The pinatas (virgin pina colada) is always a treat. Inventive entrees and an ad hoc "gallery" of sorts to enjoy while you are eating.

I didn't enjoy my meal here. I ordered garlic shrimp and the whole plate of food was served cold. Cold shrimp, rice and broccolli. The shrimp were obviously frozen. I just left it, total waste of money.
