We went there in the evening after dinner. Homemade Italian gelato - too many flavors to chose from but delicious. We had Rafaello, frutti di bosco and bailey’s. My only negative would be Instead of using a scoop which gives me only two flavors to...More

Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but we were not impressed. The staff were pleasant and the location excellent but we spent 1.5 hours for very average food at lunchtime.

Great little stop for a treat while walking around town exploring! The vanilla flavor was amazing, maybe the best vanilla flavor I have ever had!

While strolling along the Malecon, we wanted to stop somewhere for a nice cold beer. We came upon Robertos and they offered beer for 1 U,S, dollar. The waiter came with a menu and we decided to have something to eat with our beers. We...More

Strolling the beautiful Malecon, we stopped at Roberto's to rest and have something cool to drink. Their $2 Margaritas cannot be beat and the service is excellent, plus we enjoyed our drinks on the shady patio, gazing at the stunning turquoise bay. We wish we...More

Walking along the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta, we finally were sufficiently hungry to have brunch. But where? So many choices and most of them with higher than normal prices. Roberto's was chosen for no apparent reason. We chose our seat and in due time were...More

We stopped by while we were waking the beach. They let us try several different flavors. We needed up ordering Tiramisu and "stracciatella". It was good.

I just returned from PV and we love Robertos and ate many breakfasts there. However on my first day there I asked for an orange juice and water. I did not specifically ask for bottled water thinking that with being on the Malevon and in a very touristy location I would not be given tap water. I unfortunately got travels illness - and just finished my 5 day round of antibiotics ( which made me incredibly naucious .) I love PV and this cute little restaurant with such a great view. I've been to Mexico probably 12 times and this was my 8th trip to PV. I know my system is sensitive but I want to know if it is customary for Robertos to serve regular city water to all people that don't specifically ask for bottled ? I understand a lot of expats eat there and get used to it/ but I'd really hate to have more frequent regulars like myself to have to deal with this illness. Thanks.
