The shrimp tacos were good but only 2 for the price. Other places there are 3 tacos for that price. We wanted to try it as it was recommended but probably won't go back again.

The menu is limited which can often be a good thing as it often means focus on what you doi best. Not so here, as it was the fish tacos were pretty blah.

What a great breakfast they serve!!!! We went American today. My hubby had an an omelette and hash browns (and they were really, actual, real hash browns!) and I had the banana pecan pancakes with a side of bacon that was cooked perfectly! Highly, highly recommend!!

I always have at least one lunch here while in Zihuatanejo and I always seem to migrate to the same dishes, e.g., the tiritas and the tacos. On this visit, we tried the surf and turf tacos as well as the shrimp with bacon. Always good. Service is always friendly, but as others have pointed out, matches the slower pace... More

My nephew in Mexico City knowing that my wife and I were going on vacation in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo several years back, he pushed to go to La Sirena Gorda claiming they served the best fish tacos in Mexico, so we obliged and totally agree with his claims. Not Only has the best tacos but the décor of the local is unique!... More

We always eat here at least once when in Zihua. Its close to the artizan bazaar so we walk thru there while near the marina. Good food.

La Sirena Gorda has some other spots around Mexico, but the original one is at Paseo del Pescador. A great place to eat fresh shrimp and fish at Zihuatanejo, the price could feel overpriced compared on the spots that you can find on the beach, but the quality really worth it, is clean, is well cooked, and is just delicious.... This was one of my favorite spots in Zihua. The food is always amazing. Was disappointed by the level of service I received last visit. If you go, try the Tacos, so many choices. Also the spicy fish soup is amazing. The service to the customer needs to be way better. The place was empty and I had to ask... More
