The place, is very mexican style, but unfortunately by 3.30/4.00 they were running out of many dishes, the service was extremely slow and the taste was not as good as the other branches in Tepozotlan, it was a shame since we were looking forward to it

We had planned to eat dinner but since we arrived a little past 7:00 we didn't have time since they close at 8:00. And they don't take credit cards. So we decided to just have a drink and some guacamole with chips. My friend had been there some years ago and said they had good food. They brought out salsa... More

Green mole, cecina, chiles en nogada, huanzontles, quesadillas de flor de calabaza, and of course colorines is some what you can enjoy in Los Colorines, always acompompanied with hand made tortillas, exquisite molcajete sauce. Very reasonable prices.

The parrillada (a delicious mix of carnes, guacamole, nopal, sausage) is fabulous and I go back again and again for it whenever in the area -- and the price is right. Sometimes the service isn't the best, but I've never really had any real gripes with it. It's a very very good deal, one of the best in the area,... More

always a great option if you are in the mood for typical mexican food and not willing to look for somewhere else or going to Tepoztlán....this is the place. Good food, special and basic flavors, nice prices in a simple and friendly place. Don´t forget to pay in cash always...

I've visited this place on 19 july of 2016, with all my family and childrens. Everyone of us get intoxicated from some food and we had a lot of trouble for two days with diarrhea and stomach pain and vomit. Beware! Stay away from this place!

I visited Mexico after several years (I spent summers here in my youth), and made a day trip to Cuernavaca, where we ate lunch at Los Colorines. What a welcome delight for my taste buds, at each and every item that was brought to the table! The guacamole was freshly made with perfectly ripe avocados, the salsa made with the... More

Frankly, I like the Colorines in Tepoztlan better than the one in Cuernavaca. The setting is lovely, very Mexican and all the dishes are classic Mexican recipes.
