Upon arriving you are greeted with a bowl of their soupy beans in an ethnic small bowl. As I looked around I loved their rustic themed decorations. It was all just beautiful to look at. Ordered their go to meal, carne en su jugo, was right on point. Family member ordered queso fudido. That too was delicious, brought to us... More

I invited my friend and family for a celebration get-together. They were very nice. The place was clean and the staff were very cooperative. The food was excellent and the price was even better. The manager was there in person and he was a very helpful man.

the CARNES EN SU JUGO is a popular dish in Guadalajara. this restaurant is family friendly, and accomodates large groups. the food tastes great, and it is very traditional. the environment has dim lights which makes it cozy, romantic and comfortable. i love this place. i recommend making reservations on the weekend as it gets packed.

Best around, order carne en su jugo, arrachera or queso fundido. The beans at the beginning are incredibly good. The service is amazing, very gentle people in there. Mexican music all the time and themed walls in all the place.

First off, 4 stars only because of how hot it was in the restaurant - but somewhat to be expected. Beyond that, this place is simply the best! There's one reason to go & to keep coming back - Carne en su Hugo to die for...!! Dinner starts with a complementary unique small serving of beans, complete with tostada chips,... More

Interesting interior, rather dark and would be what a foreigner would think of s typical Mexican place. Great cocktails both margarita and vampiro. Good waitering. There is a complimentary starter of grilled onions and tacos with a bean soup. The adobada a marinated pork is good. The grilled beef was too chewy and over done. Accompanying is guacamole, a deep... My family from Mexico took me here before I left for the states. It had the look of a Chicago steakhouse with all the photos of the celebrities that have ate there on the wall at the entrance. They offered me a menu in Spanish which was nice that they had that. I ordered their signature dish which I could... More

I went to Kamilos invited by our clients in GDL. The restaurant is in the popular area in Guadalajara and is well known by GDL citizens. The place is very cool, and you can feel to be in a real Mexican restaurant. We tasted typical mexican dishes and we have appreciated a lot everything. Personnel is kind and warm and... More

The Carne en su Jugo is the specialty of the house and since 30 years ago its wonderful. The waiter takes like 30 seconds to serve you with nice beans and "totopos" (nachos). The service is good and the price is ok. Do not miss it.
