The coliflour chickenwings were so good I actually cried. We got 12, half bbq and half the other red sauce. I hadnt eaten chicken wings in a decade and these were insanely delicious and so beautiful too, highly recommend them. My partner is not vegan and they loved it too. We returned a day later!! Best: coliflour wings. Pizza was... More

Both Google Maos and Maps took me to Calle Justo Sierra 1869. So, I walked back a block and a bit. If you arrive my taxi, I recommend you walk, due to all the one-way streets - especially during the busy bar nights. The standard plastic furniture has been replaced by beautiful local pine-accented metal sets, with a nice Lucuma... More

The meals, juice and teas were amazing. Desert was divine. I normally don't have room but had to have it. It's a cute place with friendly staff.

I'm on a two-day solo trip to Guadalajara. I only wish I were with others or had more time so I could try more of their dishes. I had the ensalada dulce and the Mexican pizza. Both were outstanding. It's rare that I find a vegan pizza that I like better than my own: this was one of those rare... More

We were so impressed by this quaint vegan restaurant off the beaten path in Guadalajara. The chef takes traditional Mexican classics and transforms them (only slightly) into creative vegan alternatives. Care and precision is given to the plating allowing your eyes to feast as much as your bellies. I would highly recommend this to anyone (including devout meat eaters!) They... More

We got lost in the dark finding this out of the way place, but several friendly locals helped us. The bland white interior is unusual with quite steep steps up to some tables (like in a loft). Since we couldn't understand the menu, the young English speaking chef came and explained her specialties. (They are going to translate the menu... More

Lucuma is a hidden gem, we went there for lunch and every single dish was exquisite. I went with a group of friends so we ordered a good selection of appetizers and all of them where impresive. The main courses offer a wide selection of flavors, from dishes with plantains with strawberries to dishes with coconut, lime, peppermint and spice... More

This is 2014; other reviews must be from another era. Seriously, I ate there today, I have to say the portobello taco, and salsas were great! However, the rest of the meal was beyond disappointing. A tortilla soup tasted like canned tomato soup with too much salt, the rice paper wraps had raw veggies that might possibly work on a... More
