As far as torta' ahogada's go, this place has got it down. My wife and I have been torta hopping for the past 2 years, and this is one has made our top 3. By far the best in Zapopan, this shop is clean, classy, and affordable. Its especially affordable for students with its student promotion (taco, torta, drink) for... More

A breakfast staple for Tapatios...Its french bread (bolillo) with pork meat soaked in hot tomato sauce....yumm, you will be liking your fingers. This joint is the best. I like them in the morning but any time is the perfect time for Tortas...

Great place to have a traditional torta ahogada! Apparently there are several types pf meet that you can have in a "Torta" We had "macisa" and it was delicous! They have the sauce, onions, cabbage and more sauce to dip in your torta! All in all great place to eat and have a real local experience!

Here you can find way more than Tortas. The best place if you are looking to try the taste of the typical torta ahogada. Be careful with the salsas, you have 2 options, the mild and the super super hot, if you need to combine both to get to your right level. Perfect for pork lovers.

There are only 2 main options, shrimp torta and meat torta. Both of them full of taste!! Be careful with one of the toppings, very very spicy!!!

I'm not an expert on Tortas Ahogadas, however, from all the ones I ever tasted, these are the best ones!

This place serves 1 dish and they have mastered Torta Ahogad. The origin of this dish straight out of Guadalajara. The bread on the sandwich is cooked to perfection with a hard shell ready to be soaked in sauce and stuffed with some local pork meat. If you truly want to be a local top it off with onions sauce,...
