Not knowing what mole is meant to taste like, we agree it was great. They made me a vegetarian version of the chicken enchiladas with mole (except with refried beans). Unfortunately the veggie version was served with potatoes that had clearly been roasted in chicken juices (but also some rice that was meat free). The chicken enchiladas were packed with... More

This restaursant is a favorite with the locals as well as touristas. The menu is Mexican with many choices. It is an extremely clean facility with a friendly staff. We ate here 3 times within a week.

I can't believe we almost didn't go to this restaurant because there was a line out front. The food was absolutely wonderful, as was the service. We particularly liked the dishes with different mole sauces. Our waiter was wonderful and brought us out samples of the mole sauces before we ordered. Whoever manages the restaurant does a great job because... More

This was such a good place to have breakfast, fortunately we got early to the place since it gets crowded and almost impossible to get a table. It has a quick service and really good quality, will come back

This is an excellent restaurant for Posole - Breakfast, any traditional fare. Busy but quick service.

This place has very traditional Mexican food, well prepared and tasty. Prices are quite low, large portions, very informal. Very close to the Guadalajara Cathedral. Lines to get a table could take 30 minutes or more, but food is worth the waiting time.

When we arrived in Guadalajara we noticed a line-up outside this restaurant. Our cabby told us that if we ate in town just once, we would have to come here...so we did. It was a plesant wait with a mix of locals and foreigners alike, and when we were finally served our Moles, we confirmed...it was worth the wait.

You cannot book, you just have to line up patiently. If you go early, like 7 pm, chances to get a table immediately are much higher. Food is moderately good, fully Mexican cuisine. The starter mix that you can order if you are a group gives you a good "overview" of their kitchen. I had "polo frito" as main course.... More
