Great food, friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. My husbamd and I really enjoyed our meal here. It was a modern twist on Mexican cuisine. I had a salmon entree that was delicious. We definately recommend trying this place.

The Mestizo presents you a bit different Mexican cuisine. Like its name is expressing it is a mixture of different cuisines. The mix is between Mediterranean and Mexican style. You will have the choice of a big variety menu. Only the wine list is a bit limited. The service was nice and attentive.

We had Valentines day dinner there and we're amazed by the menu choices. My husband's orange chicken was moist and flavorful and he raved about the carpaccio which was his appetizer. My salad, fruit de mer pasta and dessert special was incredible. The pasta was perfectly cooked with a sauce that enhanced the seafood. Highly recommend this restaurant

Up by the museums, it has a quiet ambiance with a jazz background that will set you up for a nice meal. It is a mixt of Mediterranean and New Mexican cuisine. The choices are numerous without being overwhelming. The wine list is limited but nice. The service is correct. In Guanajuato this is enough. Enjoy.

We dined here based upon the TripAdvisor reviews. Indeed, this spot is currently ranked number three in the city. We won't make that mistake again. Everything was good but certainly not great - and that assessment includes ambiance and service. We found it a bit pricey as well compared to dozens of other spots.

The restaurant serves great food at good prices. Carnitas de atun, tortilla soup and enmoladas are great!

After a long day of walking with our puppy, this was a welcome, charming oasis in Guanajuato. Tortilla soup..just amazing. Pasta and pollo were good. Atmosphere delightful.

We visited on our last night in Guanaquato and it was our best meal in this city. Lovely place, with beautiful art and pottery on display. We had tortilla soup, fillets with gorganzola cheese and a fabulous dessert. The owner chef stopping to say hello is a nice touch. The prices are extremely reasonable. Loved this restaurant

Perhaps the best restaurant we visited in Guanajuato City. Excellent, beautifully presented foods. Excellent attentive, friendly, non-intrusive service. Fine dining at a reasonable price, even with wine and dessert. The size of tapas dishes is quite generous, so one can make a meal of, for example, one tapas dish, one soup, some wine, and dessert.

Thank Craig J
