This restaurant was a disappointment. I really didn't like most of the food, and that could be the choices we made. We did not have the tasting menu, but rather chose seven items off the menu. My favorite choice was the bread and cheese. The restaurant is stuffy, service attentive, and this was not the experience we expected. We had... More

super well designed space. menu is only in Spanish... super choices and very nice presentation. inventive menu that is accompanied by a very interesting wine list that even boasts some super Mexican wines. service was as expected for a resto of this caliber.

Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants I've ever visited. No wonder it's in the world's 100 best restaurants. Foie gras with silver pearls is a taste of heaven that will definitely keeps a special place in my heart :)

The cuisine is well executed with premium ingredients. However, two pin bones were found in our entree and very little recovery was extended. Service was attentive and polished, but not engaging. The menu is difficult to interpret without instruction. Firstly, the tasting menu is presented followed by new world dishes, then old world dishes. The latter two menus are divided... More

Let me be clear - the food was AMAZING. But what spoiled the experience was the formal, stand-offish service. This is one of the top 50 restaurants IN THE WORLD so I make no apologies for having high expectations. We had a 7 course tasting menu with wine. My main gripes are a different wine being served before we had... More

I had visited Biko two years ago to find an outstanding dining experience in the very competitive Mexico DF scene. Having been to the Basque region in Spain the year before, I was taken aback by how fresh and true the restaurant proved to be. I returned this February to find very much the opposite. The restaurant seems tired, the... More

It was supposed to be an incredible Valentine's Day meal, having found out Biko was rated in the top 50 restaurants in the world. It did NOT play out that way, and I wish we'd gone elsewhere. We took one of the few reservations left for the day, at 4:00 (comida). The entrance, including the elevator up the the restaurant... More

I looked into going to a top mexico city restaurant 2 weeks before my trip, pujol and quintonil were not available. My friend stated that Biko was a top restaurant and I made the reservation. We both had the tasting menu , did not go for the wine pairing. I had the tamarind margarita which I will say was truly... More

Definitely in my Top 5 ever. The food from start to finish was exceptional. The service impeccable. It is no wonder this restaurant is so highly regarded not just in Mexico. We had some amazing The Macallan whisky throughout the meal, that made the experience even better. Make sure you book. We were there on a Tuesday night and it... More

Atmospheric restaurant with great reputation but overrated. We have been in Mexico for the past 3 weeks and have found no restaurant with as poor service and lack of concern. Truth be told, I speak almost no Spanish but my wife is fairly fluent. We had major difficulty interpreting a very complex menu in Spanish and had virtually no cooperation... More
