This place was hands down the best place my wife and I ate at in Mexico City. There will be people outside of it to try to persuade you to go to neighboring bars but keep your eyes on the prize, this is where it's...More

This place was highly recommended by a friend and a Nat Geo blog. Glad we visited. Enjoyed the wandering mariachi groups. Drinks we great, not weak, not to strong. I recommend all tourists near to Mexico City visit Salon Tenampa.

The place has some character, the food was OK, but eating and inhaling other people's cigarette smoke is definitely not for me. The waiter added a 10% tip into my bill, which is illegal. I didn't pay it and hopefully he made the connection as...More

We came here for dinner and enjoying some mariachi music, and this place didn't disappointed us!! it is enjoyable in the first place, before too many bands played in the same time. It got louder and a bit noisy later on

Prices are fair, food is great, the only thing is that you have to wait a long time for the mariachis. Even on Mondays they are busy and the mood is awesome.
