The visit was extremely unsatisfactory, the only bad experience in a very enjoyable stay in the city. Dishes ordered were either not served correctly or poorly prepared, fish was overcooked and tasteless, meat dishes came without vegetables and when ultimately provided, were only enough for one diner. When drawn to the attention of the manager he served one small desert... More

We had breakfast here one morning, with the same friends I was hanging out with around Roma for a few days last month. Apparently also one of their favourite places and when we were asked on the street by some Swiss tourists where to find 'authentic' food in the area the friends recommended Sobrino's. There was some discussion amongst the... More

It is very well located, in Colonia Roma. The place is made to look really traditional and we felt instantly welcome. We had delicious freshly squeezed juice, glorious bread and about the best coffee I had in Mexico City. Only a bit more expensive than others, but very much worth it.

Delicious coffee, superb ceviche and the best pork tacos I ate in my whole time in Mexico City. A really old traditional restaurant that felt like going back in time. Nice friendly staff. Highly recommend here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

This restaurant is in a trendy hipster neighborhood Roma in a very good corner. The food was delicious, especially the green chilaquiles, freshly squeezed juice and wonderful baked bread. The decoration is French style and we managed to eat in the tables outside. Definitely worth it!

From outside it did not look like much but what an excellent place this turned out to be. Service was excellent. The menu extensive, 100% Mexican. Food was great. Ambience all right; traditional and very varied in terms of people there at the time (locals, business & tourists). We loved Sobrinos for breakfast, it really exceeded our expectations. If you... This is a great place to have breakfast service is amazing, food is fresh, well made and the pastries are to die for. This is truly a traditional "home made" meal with a great environment that will simply want to make you stay and come back.

I loved the food here...and the atmosphere...bright, except on the protected sidewalk, white tablecloths, good wine, good service, ate there three times...once for breakfast...all were excellent...

this might be my all time favorite breakfast. Insanely good croissants and coffee in the shade of a sidewalk cafe while a saxophonist plays old jazz on the corner. Perfection.

Great place to meet friends. Pretty dining room, nice outdoors, good service. Food is good, maybe not the best, but nothing is bad either.
