La trainera is a very good option when you are in Polanco. They serve very nice raw fish dishes. Try the various tiraditos, they're excellent. The pulpo a la gallega is highly recomendable as well as the various fishes. Not a highly sofisticated cuisine but...More

You can't go wrong with this spot. The food is fantastic - try the warm pulpo starter and the salt covered fish as a main - and as always the service fantastic. Great ambiance and delicious fish options. Yum!!

I´m limited to fish at seafood places, but this restaurant did well. Even varieties you'd expect in Spain. Prepared "a la sal" was excellent as was the grilled tuna. Varied sashimi dish was a bit non-descript. Good artisan beers. Fine coffee. A bit pricey, but...More

I was amazed that they served cherrystone clams, oysters on the half-shell, and lobster tails with your choice of sauce. I love clams so I ate quite a few. For you seafood lovers, I definitely recommend La Trainera which s in Polanco.

No wonder the place was empty. It was really expensive and not fresh at all. Very dangerous for a seafood place. My mom got sick and I just was dísapointed with the crab legs which were very frozen. Don't go.

I'm not sure why this place gets such good reviews. People must really be lowering their standards for seafood when in Mexico City. This place is typical of Mexican restaurants that get it wrong, with the music blasting so loud you can hardly hear the...More
