Good spot to try some pulque if it's your first time trying the fermented, maguey, viscous beverage. Good atmosphere and music that you can listen or dance to while sipping on your drink. Prices usually range from $35-$60 pesos depending on the size. Not into Pulque...no problem. They also offer mezcal, cocktail drinks, or national beer. Place does get pack... More

First taste of pulque which was amazing. You can't really taste the alcohol and it reminded me of a fruit smoothie. I had the mamey version with green chorizo to snack on. I think the pulque was about 35 pesos. Definitely something to try if you've never had it before. The place itself was sort of small but there are... More

It's a fun place that has 3 floors with the top and bottom floor having two different DJs so you are bound to find something that you enjoy. It's a laid back type of place. If you haven't tried pulque, it's a good place to start because they have curados, meaning that they have different flavors.

Really fun ambiance and the pulque was offered in delicious flavors. The Los Insurgentes was our favorite, and the Nuez was a great end-of-the-night treat. Great local music and plenty of other drink options (local cider and beer, mezcal, tequila, rum, etc) and the service was super-helpful and nice. Food selection was good, too. We cheated since we were there... More

This pulqueria is a very nice place for people who like the rockish places. Really nice place, good music, in several floors. Be sure to try the pulque when you visit Mexico, is something even more Mexican than tequila. Pulqueria Insurgentes has several different flavors of pulque, when I visited they had oat flavored and strawberry mix, among others. For... More

If you are looking for something truly Mexican, this is this! Los Insurgentes is an amazing local spot serving up the best and most authentic pulque and mezcal in town. Forget tequila! Los Insurgentes honors the ancient Aztec drink, pulque, and serves it up in a fun, laid back setting. The place has something for everyone--A rooftop with city views,... More
