Our hotel recommended this as somewhere that had authentic regional food. The salsa was prepared at the table and was very good . The food was fresh , flavoursome & interesting . They managed to arrange a vegetarian meal for me & Victor recommended a very palatable wine. Overall a good experience

This place has a very nice setting, presentation true flavours and good service. However the ambience is really quit and calm, no much a buzz, almost empty all the time, even though is very small, there were having dinner other couple and a small groups of friends, we all were whispering at one moment of the evening, so not very... We had a good lunch with variety of delicious Mexican dishes. They prepare salsa right in front of you and you can order not spicy, medium and hot. Medium was very spicy for my palate. Guacamole served in crusty shells was slightly different: no tomatoes and plenty of lemon juice (a bit too much). Grilled shrimps on the bed of... More

We had a wonderful meal. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great cocktails and the salsa prepared table side was the right amount of spice.

Agua fresca was 1 of the best I have ever had. Grasshopper with bean paste and herbs was good, but I wish I would have gone with the squash blossoms. Suckling pig in mole Colorado was more like pork belly in mole than suckling. It was good, but a bit cloying. I like a little more bitter kick in my... More

This small Oaxacan restaurant in Polanco is a delight. Victor and his staff provided attentive service. The food and drinks were wonderful. The bar specializes in Mescal based drinks - all were delicious. Enjoyed a plaintain with mole negro appetizer. My entree was a relleno with a sauce spiced with ground grasshoppers - everyone agreed it was excellent.

We had a dinner at this place and it was a fantastic meal. We don't speak Spanish, so Victor, with perfect English, came to our help. Freshly made salsa at our table. Great soup and salad. We had beef tongue and fresh fish, both were excellent. Highly recommended.
