This is a really special restaurant ... but good luck getting a reservation! The food is wonderfully well prepared. Don't freak out if you find ants in the sauce. They're there on purpose. Pujol is totally a foodie's destination ... so if you're picky you should probably not eat there. Really, there will be bugs on the menu at some... More

One word: Amazing This was an elegant presentation of Mexican food and culture. I think the mole was 11140 days old and utterly divine. It tools me months to get the reservation and the first bite of food was well beyond the wait. Believe the hype! Dining at Pujol was an evolution of beauty and grace. I loved every morsel.

Our night at Pujol was a journey into the re-exploration of Mexican cuisine. With the tasting menu, Olvera provides a look at the intricacies Mexican flavours and ingredients. The street snacks were delicious, with the baby corn with powdered Chicatana ants and chile bringing the wow factor in presentation and taste. Each course brought us to another level of appreciation... More

My husband and I visited Pujol on one of our last days in Mexico. The staff were lovely and service attentive as you would expect from this type of establishment. Food tasted fantastic, everything we had was cooked to absolute perfection. I still remember the taste of the chicken vividly... We both loved how it highlighted so many of the... More

We have been wanting to come here for three years and finally managed. We have eaten in all of Mexico City's top restaurants and this was the first time we left disappointed. Nothing needs to be said about the food, it's excellent. The experience was ruined however by the service. Apart from the gentleman greeting us it was a disaster.... More

If you're like me, no review can shake your excitement for Pujol; however after going there last week I have to agree with the growing number of reviewers that our visit to Pujol was less than I hoped. Pros: mole madre was incredible Cons: nothing else was incredible. We were treated as if we were so fortunate to be eating... More

such a great experience and food. Really really really loved the food, not so much the ambiance of the Restaurant, that its quite informal for a fine dining. Its a must if you are a foodie.

While visiting Mexico City over the Christmas/New Year's period, we decided to pay ourselves a treat by visiting what is rated by many as Mexico's best restaurant. We knew it would be expensive. The menu is fixed nightly by the chef and is inspired by regional dishes and flavours but artfully refined and presented. In this regard, Pujol's lived up... More
