Im abslutely surprised by some of the last reviews, as we had such an amazing experience having breakfast here. We arrived early in the morning, and the place was already absolutely packed...however, we managed to get a table for 8 in around 20 minutes. The waitress was amazing, great service, quick, atenttive. The food was to die for, we all... More

This is a famous restaurant for Breakfast, everyone from Mexico refers you to visit this place. Finally we had a chance to visit, not quite what I expected. Food was not even good. What a disappointment.

I am saddened to write negative remarks about Sanborns . I've been a fan of this franchise for years, and every time I visit Mexico, I eat there numerous times. However, this specific Sanborns disappointed me. My boyfriend and I got there the 24th of December for breakfast, a few hours before heading to another city to celebrate Christmas. However,... More

On the day before christmas we went to grab a quick breakfast before we left the city. I ordered the chilaquiles suizos and got my food within 2 minutes. The tortilla chips were hard as bricks and the sauce was cold. Within half an hour of eating there I got violently sick for about a week. Thanks Sanborns. So yeah... More

If you're going to eat at a Sanborns, let this be the one. Beautiful interior. I go once each time I'm visiting the city. I think I prefer the breakfast to the other meals.

Some nice murals on walls. Waitresses in traditional looking costume. A bustling place. Helpful advice on what to order. I had the pork burritos. Very tasty. Reasonable prices. Adjacent to convenience store and bakery.

We ate here twice in our last visit. We had eaten here a few times in previous visits over the last 20 years and it has always been great. Be aware that sometimes there is a long wait if you go during the busiest times. The food is traditional Mexican food, which we really like. It's not gourmet food, so... More

We put our name on the list in order to get in and we waited in line for over 40 minutes! We managed to get a table (the napkin was dirty by the way) and we order a Milanese and a burrito. The Milanese was not very good and the burrito wasn't anything special. We were really disappointed since the... More

My girlfriend and my friends had breakfast at Sanborns, and we were presently surprised at how poor the food was. It was cold, tasteless, and otherwise pedestrian. I'm surprised anyone would eat here.

Wow... one of the oldest most traditional places.. the waitresses all dressed up in mexican uniforms.. the walls with terrific murals.. a very good mexican menu... and the building itself.. has so much history and is gorgeous.. also the location.. walking distance to the zocalo, bellas artes.. etc.. a must see. And must do
