It is a great place in the heart of downtown Mexico City. Located in an old neighborhood where old buildings are the norm. You can not separate Spanish cuisine from the influence of the Arab culture that brought their flavors and many new ingredients to Spain during 800 years. Al-Andalus perfectly merges both flavors with many choices of Both cultures.... More

I truly enjoyed my lunch here. The food was delicious and the atmosphere truky relaxing after the chaos of Mesones. It is worth the trip to come and sample great hummus baba ganoush and superb youghourt drinks laced with mint. Will definitely come back .

We had an amazing romantic late lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The food was excellent, very fresh and flavorful. We shared a fattoush salad and the Mediterranean platter for one. It was more than enough for the two of us. Hot fresh pita accompanies your meal. The platter was huge and included a large sampling of dishes including hummus,... More

I was recommended to try this restaurant by some friends and was not disappointed at all. It is housed in an old but well kept colonial mansion which gives the impression that you are traveling back in time. Food was absolutely delicious: keppe, hummus, tabbouleh, babba ganoush, falafel, shish kebab, dolmades, everything was great. We finish off with some yummy... More

I liked this restruant , while hard to find and the street scape may worry some , that said the ambiance was delightful, we chose to eat entrees rather than main courses so my review is some what incomplete, Brown seemed to be the preferred color of the dishes emerging from the kitchen and the three ladies adjacent us played... We were walking in the area in the late afternoon when the fragrance of fresh coffee lured us into a tiny coffee shop. "Arabic coffee", we were told, and Arabic desserts to accompany it. Fresh and delicious. And, the young lady informed us, backed up by another customer, there is a Lebanese restaurant upstairs that's very good. We checked the... More

I know the place since it was opened twenty years ago. When I was young I used to eat there a lot . For many years I haven't visited the centro and this amazing Lebanese restaurant. Last week I visited the centro with some friends and I was curious if this place still exist. The place is hard to find.... More

Dont miss it. You wont see a big entrance, as the usual mexican restaurants. Just go inside the house, take the stairs and wait for your table. Dont miss the "taco arabe" and I would recommend to order the "menu", that way you can try a little bit of everything! They close at 6 pm, so be there early!
