What can be more enchanting than a romantic restaurant where the chef is conscientious and the server is caring? We found Casa Maria L. just such a locale. Though the caprese could have used a fresher, milkier mozzarella (I deconstructed the caprese, which were stacks on six tomatoes; I salted the tomato and added some olive oil, and restacked.) Nevertheless,... More

Great Italian place - thin crust pizza and good pasta - recommend the Spaghetti Carbonara. Very pleasant ambience - relatively quiet - check out the lighting We had no problem with service on any of the three nights we dined there. In fact, tell them to hold the order if you want a glass of wine before dinner. Highly recommended.

This was a nice place to have some decent Italian food. Personally I loved the pasta - both the ones I tried tasted great! The pizza is also ok, though not as nice as the pasta. It is "correct", though they use a bit too much cheese. No problem eating, but I do not go here for the pizza but... More

For anyone looking for a night off of corn, Casa Maria Lombardo is where you need to eat. My husand and I had the Mediterranean Pizza, Pasta Carbanera and Caprese Salad and all were deliciously prepared and totally enjoyed. We highly recommend Casa Lombardo. Because I have seen comments on the poor service, I also would like to add that... More

The pizza was just how I like it, thin crust and interesting toppings. The service was rather slow. The jazz piano music was nice and it added to the lovely, rustic romantic atmosphere. I found it interesting that they provide a variety of bottled hot sauces for your pizza.

went for early evening snack. Roof top is lovely and pizza good. Service good. Also was there about two weeks ago during pouring rain and inside was cozy and pizza good. Good value place.

This place is fine if you like to change for Italian food (fresh pizza !) one day but it is not really a location to travel many miles for. The food is all right without being great, service and ambiance are average, and the location is marginally off the historic center,

We are new to Oaxaca. We came here for lunch directly after landing in Oaxaca. Skeptically, we ordered a pizza and a pasta. Both were really tasty and the service is excellent here. They always keep an eye on the tables they serve. You just have to turn with a quizzical look on your faces, they will attend you immediately.... More

We ate here one night to take a break from Mexican food (we’d had a huge feast at lunch). The food is ok, but not likely to favorably impress an Italian. On a quiet night at least, this was a pleasant enough place to pass a little time.
