This rooftop bar and restaurant has excellent views of the cathedral and a friendly staff. The rooftop is not particularly well lit so you might struggle to see your food unfortunately. The stone soup was the reason I came. Seafood soup prepared cold and then heated by the waiter by your table by placing an extremely hot stone into the... More

My wife and I were new to the City of Oaxaca and on our 1st night in the Historic District of the city, we decided to take in some nightlife on their Roof Top. We loved the scenic view fresh air and beautiful landscape. Had some appetizers and some craft beer. The service was great and the servers and staff... More

We visited this place... Total respect for the great restaurants, innovative chefs in Oaxaca, sorry to rate mediocre and to be honest I only had the "Oaxaca Sabe" taster menu. (Oaxaca Sabe is a multi-restaurant promotional where you get a set menu of three choices with an alcoholic drink fr only 250 peso , which was held the week of Mar 7, 2016 -... More

We went there based on a very positive review from one of the best-selling guide book and it was more than a disappointment. The service was very slow and unfriendly. We tried the specialty recommended in that famous guide book, the "caldo de piedra" : a shrimp-and-fish soup cooked at your table by a pre-Hispanic method using hot stones inside... More

Is not worth your time, neither your money. They forget the customer is their priority. Slow and rude service, the view is OK but the bar itself is messy and dirty. We waited 20 min for the waiter to come and when he finally did, it wasn't to take our order, but to command us too change table because where... More

I went ona very nice evening so the roof terrace was full of drinkers and diners. It has a very nice view of Sto Domingo and the drinks come within a half hour. But the food, which is pretty bad, doesn't come at all because there has been a mixup in the kitchen, I mean actually 2 mixups in the... More

We had drinks and appetizers at this place, it has THE best views of the Santo Domingo temple, nice ambience (albeit, a bit young and loungy) and good/efficient service. The appetizers were tasty too. We went twice, the first night we swapped tables with a larger party sitting in a small 2-top table, but ended up next to a party... More

The rooftop dining area is exceptional with a great view of the vibrant life on the street near the plaza. Our service was also very solid and friendly. We decided to order a few starters for a tapas style dinner. The empanadas were made from corn tortilla and had no mole taste whatsever. The duck was full of bones (dangerous... More
