Great little cafe with lots of vegetarian options, can sit inside or in the courtyard. Their guacamole is divine, omelettes really good too and their melon juice. There is also a toilet towards the back of the courtyard/market which you pay 5 pesos for, may be ladies only though.

We ate here several times, for both lunch and dinner. Mostly we had salads, and spring rolls with peanut sauce. Everything was very fresh and tasty, and service was excellent. It’s a great place to sit by a window and people-watch.

The cafe is a bit hidden through an archway. Inside is a lovely, small courtyard. Our table was beside a small fountain. Great ambiance. We were glad of our choice before we ordered. We relaxed over coffee, and shared orders of scrambled eggs with ham, and a spinach salad with avocado, pine nuts and feta cheese. Both items were very... More

Good breakfast (Tlayuda and home-made chicken soup) and really decent coffee (which we found surprisingly hard to find elsewhere in Mexico). Atmosphere in the couryard is really nice, too.

Cafe Los Cuiles is in a great location between M.Alcala and 5 de Mayo. The restaurant offers great salads and vegetarian wraps in a peanut butter sauce. The restaurant is inside a charming courtyard and one can eat inside or outside. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to all of my friends!

Whilst my partner and I were in Oaxaca for a week in late Oct, this cafe was a favourite place to relax after a day of walking. We often relaxed in the courtyard drinking Micheladas. Their food is fresh and consistently good. I often had the club sandwich and the guacamole. It's nice as you can see the top of... More

Cuiles has a extensive menu for most travelers' tastes. You can find good vegetarian options and they have great traditional dishes as well. Something for all tastebuds. The tortas (torta is a style of sandwich) are amazing! The torta with chorizo and quesillo is worth the calories!

Nice setting in a good location! Really good value for fresh and tasty food! We had the enchiladas and avocado salad to share which were both good! The mango lassi was also great!

My daughter and I wandered into Los Cuiles in the summer of 2013 on a rainy evening, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots in the city. Back in Oaxaca in 2014, we still found ourselves enjoying coffee or a light dinner most evenings at this welcoming cafe. It's in a great location near Santo Domingo, and our... More

We had delicious tostas at this cafe for lunch. It's inexpensive but very good in a lovely location near Santo Domingo church. Highly recommend. Laid back and pleasant courtyard setting.
