Had very good fried fish and salad here. Prices are quite fair. Service is friendly. I'll be back to try more dishes. Friends say the breakfast is great, but I haven't made it over for that yet.

Service is the difference, they adapt to what you want. You can choose from different ingredients what you want for your garnish or your scramble eggs.

This small restaurant is not in the historic centre of Oaxaca and that makes for a local clientele that appreciates its traditional cuisine. All the best of Oaxacan dishes are available and there are plates combining different styles so you can sample a selection of great homemade food. Unpretentious decor and popular atmosphere. Attentive service and very reasonable prices.

I visited this restaurant especially to try the assorted Oaxacan Botanas platter. I went at 1:30 one afternoon, and was the only one eating there.(Road construction in front may have kept away diners) Service was good, and the food nicely presented, but tasted only fair. Of the dozen items, ten were fried, and all rather greasy, probably the reason for... More

This is a nice place for lunch. As it is close to where I stay in Oaxaca, I have eaten here several times. The food is very good and in other places I might be raving about it. In Oaxaca, there are so many great restaurants to choose among that this one becomes only average. They offer a wide selection... More

A place well known to the locals. I had breakfast and it was very tasty. I was in a hurry and asked a fast service and they where really nice and fast as well. They serve tipical local food. The restaurant is very simple, but clean.

The food was fine, mostly fried botanas, which have their place in cuisine! It's kind of dark inside, like a welcoming dank pub. They serve a variety of Mexican beers, which is way better than strictly Corona and maybe Sol. I believe they had Negra Modelo, if not, it was definitely Bohemia Obscura.

I was surprised at the price of the meals. I was not impressed with the quality of the food. There are cheaper places in Oaxaca with much better food. Overall the place felt a bit presumptuous. I was not happy to pay the equivalent of US $40 for a couple of bland appetizers
