This is one of our favorite restaurants in Oaxaca. We like sitting at the bar. They have a good choice of craft beers and wine by the glass. They also serve breakfast with good coffee. There are many selections for food and salads. Margaritas are really good too.Their free appetizer of jicama is good to nibble on while waiting for... More

We went for lunch and both really loved our meals. I had the steak huaraches and my wife had a salad. Prices were good before t service was slow. Still worth it.

Wow, this place is amazing - the tables are spread in a lovely inner courtyard, with shadow from a canvas roof. Contrary to some other reviews, the service was efficient and friendly. But more importantly: the food is wonderful. My husband and I each took an Azteca soup and shared a plate of smoked marlin memelas. Both dishes were perfect,... More

We have visited Oaxaca City a number of times and have eaten at La Biznaga each time. The service is excellent, the food tasty, and the Margaritas sublime. Located just a block off the Alcala, not far from Santo Domingo, La Biznaga is perfectly located for a great evening outing or lunch time excursion. We head back to Oaxaca City... More

I have eaten here many times and their unique menu never fails to provide a great dining experience. Their margaritas are my favorites in Oaxaca. Their desserts are outstanding too. Service is slow at times but leisurely meals are what make Oaxaca special. Their toasted jamaica leaf conos are my favorite appetizer. Their fish selections are outstanding too. They were... More

Went for fourth annual comida today with three friends. The usual very loud music prevailed throughout. When another friend joined us, we asked to use an additional table and got a huffy reply as we arranged furniture ourselves, despite several empty tables. Despite the fact that we were the first party to enter, and ordered the set meal, four other... More

The place is nice but not as well maintained as many others in the city. Service is really slow, so prepare for long waits. The food is just average, nothing special.

Pork rib meal was tough. Salmon very good and presented well. Service lousy. Busy but too few serving.

We had a party of 8, the table lacked chairs, and the waiter refused to get them, so I had to get them from the back and carry the chairs to our table. The service was slow, inattentive, and they tried to overcharge us. The smoked marlin tostadas smelled and tasted off. All of our party, including 4 Mexicans, had... More

Four of us ate here on two nights for dinner. The food was outstanding! It was presented well, was fresh, and absolutely delicious. The tuna was the best I have ever had!
