We enjoyed our experience here...it's quick in and out! The food was good, regional specialties and the service was good also.

This is a very nice, courtyard-type Chiapas restaurant serving local specialties. Good service and a menu of discovery made our lunch here very pleasant. Tortillas are freshly made by hand before your eyes. The only issue...the marimba players...really not needed....

Average food and service, the best thing is the fresh cheese and the tortillas... They don't accept credit card

I truly enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It is just around the corner from the Holiday Inn Hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas. The food is authentic and very tasty. I loved "Sopa de Pan" a very delicious soup from Chiapas. On Sundays there have typical dancers as well as Marimba daily. From all the restaurants in SC... More

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with the waiters in traditional local attire but the food we ordered - sopa de pan and cinco tamales - was bland in taste and disappointing.

Traditional food. Great taste and friendly people. Best place to eat. Close to everything. A bit pricy.

The ambience and overall experiemce ia great. Food is tasty and traditional of the mountain region of San Cristobal. You feel like in a traditional kitchen. Handmade tortillas at their traditional stove. We had the cochito (pork) and Bubule (steak). Paired with tazcalate and chia-lemonade. Dessert: chocolate cake.

Honestly, Don't bother!!! The food and service were terrible.. I can't stress enough how despiteful the employees are in the restaurant, they all look annoyed. The food is crap, we have been traveling around mexico for 2 weeks, and i felt it was my duty to prevent others from going here.

Very nice setting . Nice waiter. And the food was good . Pollo en mole deliss el quesillo double milk deliss. The tortillas come right out of the "fogon" , El pollo en cacahuate not good! For dessert we had chayote with Dulce de leche mmmmmmmm . I would definitely recommend it.

The best food in San Cristobal. The environment, service and experience were top in my trip. We came back more than once. Comer y visitar este lugar es una experiencia especial.
