What can I say? Comida Thai is an unexpected delight. Who knew delicious Thai food would be here in Chiapas?. Yes, it's off the Beaten Track, but it's worth a visit. Clean, fresh and tasty, your owner chef prepares to order authentic receipes from her homeland. I was in extacy with the Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Coconut soup. The flavors... More

We enjoy the changing daily menu. The green papaya salad today was wonderfully flavored with a fabulous texture, as were the 2 different curries we ordered. We always bring home enough for another full meal as our eyes are bigger than our tummies. Very pleasant and attentive service by a young staff and chef.

Although the subject may sound negative it is really a positive experience. However, you should know that this is not a place for fast food. The authentic thai food is cooked with love by a thai woman and the owners are friendly and kind. If you ask them about Thailand they take time to explain and make you feel like... More

I've been many times to this restaurant. This place is amazing. Food and portions are excellent and the staff is super friendly. You shouldn't be in a rush, because it can take a while.

This is easily the most authentic Thai food in San Cristobal. Run by a delightful Thai lady, (who also does the cooking and changes the menu daily,) Comida Thai is just a 5 minute walk from the center. Friendly service and fair prices make this little restaurant a standout over any other Thai place in town. I tried the pad... More

I've been living in Mexico for 3 months now, and while Mexican food is - obviously - fantastic, I sometimes find myself really craving good Asian food, especially Thai. I had high hopes for this restaurant on a holiday to San Cristobal from Campeche, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was really, really good - definitely as good as any... More

The title refers to the warning posted in the restaurant: here we serve very slow food and thank god for that! The food is prepared on the spot at the time of order and you see the young Thai chef/owner cook in her kitchen. It is simple yet cooked to perfection and served by nice smiling staff. They also have... More

This is a popular restaurant and we are sure the food is good (it did smell great!) but just bear in mind the walk from the centre is around 15 / 20 minutes and closer to 30 if leaving from the plaza. The menu was limited (5-6 items) and the main dish was sold out and it was only 6pm.... More

I am a little bit confused by the opinion and the rating as you didn't dine here. You didn't get to taste the food. You didn't get to know us. You didn't get to know the reason behind our menu. You didn't get to know why the restaurant is different but yet so popular. I am sorry to hear that... More

The food is so great, I loved the restaurant. The Pad Thai tastes like the ones in Thailand ☺️☺️ also the owners are really nice! I totally recommend to go there!

Turns out, because it's amazing. I went here on a very strong recommendation from some people I met earlier in the day. The one downside: they're really slow. They have a sign up that says "very very slow food". So don't go here when starving, but do go. Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes and the one at... More
