I love El Moro but I think it's business has outgrown it's management. We wen there to eat and the crowd never stopped coming the waiters were overwhelmed and literally were running from table to table. The usually great service was compromised. We had raved to our relatives about the place but we all were disappointed. They need to hire... More

If life was as consistent and good as El Moro the world would be a better place. For years I have eaten here and the food is always the best...from shrimp to pork chops, and the service is friendly. Sometimes the restaurant gets slammed and as a customer just order a drink and relax. From mamma banging on the bell... More

The grouper was delicious along with the shrimp in garlic and white wine. The conch was rubbery. Was not able to eat it. There was no atmosphere. It was very loud with American. Very bright lights. No locals were there. You have to take a taxi there and back into the center of town. I do not recommend this place...I... More

I can see why people come there because it's off the beaten path in a neighborhood and it has a funky mom & pop diner type feel. The entire restaurant was still full of tourists. Our problem with it was the lack of descriptions in the menu. It is divided into beef, seafood, chicken, etc. but it offers no description... More

When considering that this restaurant is getting higher a higher rating than Kinta I am blown away. No comparison. This restaurant gives large quantities of food at a decent price. No locals go here it is full of Americans and is loud and noisy. As for the food it is mediocre at best. We tried multiple dishes with shrimp and... More

Somewhat hard to find. Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Don't expect to find tacos and burritos. This is not Tex-mex. Cook was kind enough to prepare special meal for one of us with a sensitive stomach. My steak Mexican style was somewhat spicey, but I like spicey. Tell the local boys they don't need to watch/protect your car. It will... More

The food was amazing and reasonably priced with a local and authentic atmosphere. The owner was incredible and the servers were very nice. We will definitely return during our visit in Cozumel and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Tried this place because of the good reviews and they earned one from us. It is a bit off the beaten path but worth the taxi ride. We had the zacharius sampler platter and everything was great! Would recommend this as a destination dinner in Cozumel.

Ok, that title may not get you to visit this wonderful restaurant on it's own, but once you meet Ray, you will understand. This man is the most genuine human I have ever met, full of life and a passion for everything he does. He is a joy to be around! Listening to him describe the Daily Special will make... More
