This was our go-to meal or snack stop. A perfect people watching spot, lively and pleasant. The food and staff are excellent. They asked if we liked the salsa... We only like very mild salsa... So they made some just for us. We ate there about 4-5 times, delicious, fresh food every time, beef, fish, chicken, shrimp, veggies, beans, guac,... More

My husband started eating here three years ago on our annual trip to Mexico. My mother told us to eat here, and she is EXTREMELY picky. Anyhow, we love this restaurant for ANY type of meal -- their breakfast is wonderful with hearty coffee and real cream (most restaurants on the island offer only milk) and thick slices of toast.... The hotel manager guided me here - probably family. Mediocre lunch of chicken tacos which was overpriced.

When I asked one of store owners "who has great shrimp ceviche?" this was the place they recommended and they were spot on. Also a great place to get food to go ... we had chicken & fish tacos & took back to our condo for dinner ... delish. Its a small place but you can still sit outside or... More

We saw a group of about 10 people sitting outside and decided to wander in. We enjoyed the ceiling fans and being inside for a cloudburst. The chile relleno and Diablo shrimp were both very good along with the pico de Gallo and quesadilla they provided before. Ample portions, reasonable prices and friendly service! The only disappointment is they don't... More

I Can't believe we had never eaten here before. We came for lunch about 11:30. the service was prompt, the staff exceedingly friendly, as "amigos" should be, and the food was delicious. Their poblano was heavenly. Chile rellenos are my favorite thing and rarely are they done as well as amigos does them. We will absolutely be back.

This reasonable little jewel of a restaurant was delicious. Their guacamole was the best I've ever had. The pico de gallo (spelling??) was spicy but good. We had everything from burritos, enchiladas, garlic fish, beef and fish tacos, chile rellenos to pizza. We ate there several times and enjoyed everything. Beer was cold! YUM.

Great food... sorry, the best Mexican food in Mexico! Super friendly! Been travelling for 2 weeks in Yucatan, Chiapas, Campeche and Quintana Roo... top of the chart! Ceviche de pescado, Chiles rellenos con pollo e queso, Arrachera a la Tampiqueña.

The food is excellent and seating good. There is a wide selection of foods (vegetarian, meats, seafood) and at a good price. The drinks are fresh and the service is nice. The wait time for the food is not unreasonable and worth it in the end.
