Beautifully restored space, perfect lighting, quiet but unpretentious ambiance with top flight service, cuisines is innovative but unfussy while showcasing local ingredients and talent; incredible value for the quality; must try the tasting menu -- even my pre-teen son enjoyed every course, every course is served on a plate designed for the dish; complete with tour of kitchen and lab... Food is very good and very avant guard room is a bit too simple and I do not like sitting in barrel chairs but service was helpful and pleasant. Food was very good but starter portions much too large ceviche negra is outstanding. I had the tongue as a main and found it a bit overdone for my taste. When... More

Came here for a family dinner and we were delighted by the amazing presentation of the plates. Amazing taste of everything and very unique. The waitress was very kind and helpful... In my opinion it is the best restaurant in Merida.

In summary, the best restaurant in Merida. If you want a complete culinary experience, you should visit Kuuk, because they watch all details on your lunch or dinner. The service is exceptional, they perfectly know the food they serve plus part of the history is coming from. The dishes, cups, glasses are very nice. Of course the food is SO... More

Our dinner here: Incredible and unexpected. Not common flavors that are executed in a truly remarkable way mixing modern and ancient mayan techinques. All the dishes are delicious and i can say that the pork in the tasting menu was the best dish i ever had in my life. We are considering on going back to Yucatan just for trying... More

We tried the multi-course pre-fix menu for a special occasion and enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent, and the presentation was more creative and interesting than any other place I have ever visited. The food was very good, but not quite as interesting as the presentation. I would say that the restaurant approaches the truly great in Mexico... More

This is one of the most incredible restaurants worldwide and maybe the best in Mexico. The food is genius and the staff and service are impeccable. You have two menu options and both are amazing. You will get mexican treats with you bill with, by the way, its not expensive at around 100 dollars per person

Chef Pedro Evia has blended an amazing combination of traditional flavors with contemporary techniques to create this nouvelle yucateca cuisine. The Tuna Tartar and the Duck are fabulous as starter. For main curse you need to try the Porkbelly, the Fish of the day with Chaya or the Octupus, all of them fantastic. The location is as good as the... More

The setting of the old house and the restoration are very well done at the top of the avenue. The welcome was warm and the service throughout was excellent . Now the challenge is whether this is messing about with some good quality produce , for the sake of it .Or genuine invention.. We chose from the a la carte... More

We were routed to Kuuk by our hacienda owner and others. We were not disappointed. We went for the (was it 11 course) prefix menu with wine pairing. The food was interesting, sometimes odd and almost always delicious AND beautiful. Witness the peas spray painted gold, the liquid nitrogen used with goat cheese and the frozen baby pumpkins . ....
