Go for the coco helado! Delicious!! It's a classic in Merida of more than 100 years old, not to be missed.

This is laike a piece of the paradise. The milky and watery ice creams are served fast, before they melt on the hot weather. Crowded and busy place. You can see pass the Yuicatan life here. Also Explore some of the desserts and pastries available. Worthless to know the Yucatan name. All they are great!

A must if you genuinely want to taste the local culture. Exotic fruits ice cream and regional sweets are served at the sidewalk of Paseo Montejo. Don't miss it.

Fancy ice cream and pastry place that's a little bit pricey (but it's still cheap enough- it's Mexico). We stopped for ice cream on our last night in town. It has a big patio looking out onto the beautiful boulevard with musicians performing for tips. My son hated his banana ice cream (it was probably a sorbet but I didn't... More

This place is a must stop in any visit to Merida. You can get a taste of the local fruits made ice cream and also watched the locals and tourists gathering in the same place. Not a lot of options other than ice cream, no coffee at this place.

Right off the main square this place is great to grab some helados especially on a hot day. That's basically all they do and did for a long time so you know they are doing something right to stay afloat for so long. They have many flavors that change daily. Coconut ice cream was good here, felt more like a... More

Although the original heladería is on the main plaza, the one on Montejo is much more pleasant. Enjoy local flavors made into icecream and sorbets. The tart tamarind is one of my favorites, as is mamey when in season. And why not, corn ice cream!
