We recently got back from Playa Del Carmen. Langosteria was a short walk from our hotel. We decided to go there one night as we had seen it had good reviews. I decided to try the stuffed avocado salad with shrimp. WOW! It was a lot larger than I thought it was and I'd ordered another course. That didn't stop... More

We stopped here one evening and the place was not crowded. Service was so slow. Food came out wrong and cold. The manager did apologize saying the chef was off. To his credit he did remove some of the items off the bill. We will never step foot in this place again. Just plain poor execution.

I ate there a few times and i've to say that every time the lobster was really good, really tasty. The restaurant is nice, right in front of the Mega. The waitress are okay, but the lobster seems to be fresh because it was always cooked well, sometimes maybe a little bit too much, but still really tasty. If you... More

We have eaten here many times over the years, used to be called La Pesca. Same owners and crew but different name. Always good service but sometimes a little slow (mexican time)! Always fresh and tasty. Maybe a little overpriced but the food is worth it. Right across the street from MEGA on Constituentes and 30th. Always have a good... More

A little outside the most touristic aerea, this place is worth a visit. Food is typically Mexican and seafood is very good. It is one of the real Mexican places I found in Playa. Service is also very good. Overall a must, in my opinion.

Off the beaten path across from Mega we found this place that is prob favored more by the locals. Lobster entree USD $15. Homemade guac and cerviche. Would certainly go back.

This authentic Mexican seafood restaurant is off the beaten path (5th Ave) by several blocks but worth the walk! Our concierge recommended it or we would not have chosen this restaurant from among the hundreds that are available in Playa del Carmen but we are very glad we did. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming in an open Palapas style... More

We have an interesting challenge in finding eating places that do a good job of offering selections for both my wife (vegetarian) and me (basically anything else. This little seafood restaurant is just across from the popular Mega supermarket. Both of us really enjoyed the food and helpful service when we stopped. When I asked about the catch of the... More

We had the fresh fish (sea bass) suggested by the owner and chef. They had several preparations - can't recall which one we had, but it was excellent! Fast, super friendly service.
