Unfortunately calamari were discusting. Not fresh, generally terrible. Tacos also. I really like to celebrate a good food and I was very dissapointed because of that place. Quite cheap and untasty :(

We went here twice in the same week because we ordered the wrong thing the first time. Our mistake the first visit was not ordering the catch of the day. They give you about 5oz of grilled filet of fresh fish with rice and salad for about $5! And its sooo good. You have your choice of different sauces. Or... More

We all ordered fried fish sandwiches. After waiting super long, the waiter brought out a fried whole fish , eyes and all. When we said we didn't order that ( other people got the right fried fish sandwich), he said , yes you did and walked away. Horrible attitude. Didn't say he was sorry. Then the corn tortillas were served... More

Looking for a spot on the beach without the hassle of minimum spending limits? Try la Tarraya! We have had lunch here in the past (see my earlier reviews) and after a trip to another beach club the day before, decided to come here for lunch on the beach. Very cheap chair rental where you can bring your own snacks... More

We came here for lunch and enjoyed eating on the beach. It was a bit blustery with wind and waves, and it was fun watching the shore break and the boats bouncing on the sea. We could see Cozumel across the way easily. The food was ok, but very inexpensive compared to our Vidanta resort. Lots of fresh fish and... More

Was there 2nd week of January. My husband and I stopped to have a couple beverages and enjoy the beach for a bit. It was a lovely place with a great view. Though we didn't eat anything, the menu looked great, as did the food being brought out! They brought out chips and salsa with our drinks, but the salsa... More

Went in here to have some snacks and drinks while wandering down the beach. It was packed with locals so you have to assume it's going to be good. Beers were cold and only 25p for domestic brands!!! Complimentary chips and salsa which is always nice. Great view. Service was pretty quick considering how busy it was. Other than the... More

Description
The grouper with garlic and butter for 90 pesos can't be beat anywhere. Service was good, portions are huge , drinks are large and excellent, and the location is right on the beach (feet in the sand if you choose). A great value.
