Lovely lunch. We could see the kitchen where they prepared the fresh fish. Two guys with conga and bongo drums provided music. As usual, 4 year old grandson made a friend. They played with a wooden car on the sidewalk. Delicious, fresh food. Served tortilla chips, with bean and hot sauce dips.

Trust the reviews, the ceviche here is great. They load it with black pepper which is unexpected but works great.

We had a late lunch at El Camello. At first I was honestly a bit skeptical about the seafood because the prices were so low. But, the place was packed with locals so I figured it was worth a try. IT WAS! Good seafood (ceviche, shrimp, fish tacos, etc.). My family tried a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all.... More

This place is out of control. The value is incredible. The seafood is super fresh. The service is efficient and attentive. They seem to have a take out counter and delivery, but eating there was also great - we didn't have to wait that long when we went - BOTH times. Must gets: 1) ceviche!!!! The small is a hearty... It's really nice place to eat, every time we pass near Tulum we go to eat here. Fresh fish, with garlis, one of the most fresh fish you can eat in restaurants. You can go in the kitchen to choose one, they serve thousands of fishes every day. Complete fish is really fresh, filets too, i just notice for the... More

After eating here multiple times because of the fried fish, I would not recommend it for people who do not eat fish. I was told (by those eating it) that the fried fish and ceviche was amazing. I however only ate the chicken dish, which was comparable to cafeteria food. This place only has a few options for those who... More

We had our best meal in Mexico at EL Camello. Mostly fish, deliciously prepared and inexpensive. A nice change from the Riviera Tulum where every place is overpriced and not that great (London prices, actually, in some cases higher). EL Camello is also very authentic, with live music and Mexican patrons singing along, a huge treat to witness! Highly recommended!
