We had friends get together and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every recipes. It was mouth watering starters and delicious main course. The dessert was cherry at the top. I really appreciate the hospitality and service. Must you visit and explore the menus!

Went with friends as we knew the pub had been taken over. Been here before but first time since the new owners. The girls behind the bar barley had a clue on how to make the drinks. I understand they may have been training- there...was 5 of them behind the bar at an empty restaurant! The menu was hard to read (blurry!) but the food was good. (Took 50 mins to come out to us though!) The staff are very judgmental about the food we ordered and where we wanted to sit. Rude. No manners. The owner is nice but needs to make some SERIOUS improvements. The pub has gone very down hill! Wouldn’t come back.More

First visit to the White Hart since it was taken over and we were so impressed. We were a group of 4 there for lunch. The menu - a mix of Indian and more traditional pub food - was impressive and the food was fantastic....Two of us had the chicken tikka wraps off the new lunch menu which were delicious. We all particularly loved the onion bhajis. They’re obviously working hard to bring the pub back to its full potential and it definitely deserves support. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!More

9 members of our group visited the White Hart for the first time since Covid. Following a change in the management the Pub has changed with a fantastic new menu created by Nandu. You should book a table without delay, you will not be disappointed.

Such a cosy family friendly pub. We visited the week before Christmas and it was a scene from a christmas card, lovely warm cost fire, big decorated tree in the corner and decorations throughout. The finest indian food on offer, they do the best mixed...grills. Nandu the owner is so hospitable as are the staff serving behind the bar We will be back for sure.....multiple timesMore

You will receive the friendliest and warmest welcome from the new owners. But it's the Indian food they serve that deserves a VERY special mention - Northern India style authentic cuisine - its the best I've had since a 3 month stint living in Dehradun...India some 10 years or so ago. Fresh produce, freshly prepared, your taste buds are in for a treat, so far I've enjoyed melt in the mouth chicken tika and succulent lamb shike kebabs. Can't wait for the more extensive menu once they are fully up and running. The beers are well managed and back to their very fresh best.More

Lovely atmosphere, extremely welcoming staff and owners. Great beer 👍. Only reopened a couple of days, looking forward to revisiting when the restaurant opens , for the authentic Indian cuisine and regular menu.

No food Beer was so bad recently that they were putting ice in it. Place is dirty Gardens in disrepair. Landlord no where to be seen.

Mothers Day roast dinner for 9 people. Generous portions and hot and tasty Very pleasant staff and friendly and accommodating

Having been here on many occasions and had excellent food & service, we returned to find new management, absolute rubbish food, fish & chips, fish with dark brown hard batter, 'chips' think McDonalds, certainly not appropriate with fish. Gammon served when ham, egg & chips...was ordered, egg came on a tea plate as an afterthought, chilli okay. Needless to say we didn't stay for dessert, moved on elsewhere. Very sad, this used to be an excellent place to eat and always busy. 2 other customers there when we arrived, and nobody else came in. I wonder why? Oh Michelle we miss you.More

This was our first day out as a family eating since restrictions had been lifted, all I can say was wow, everything was about having a great time and a great meal with safety for all. I have a Covid supply company so I know...how important it is to keep all safety procedures in place, the staff and landlady have this all correctly run. Personally seeing how this place was run and others adhering to government safety guidelines you will be very safe and happy here. I will be going back very soon. Thankyou all.More

Unfortunately from the moment we arrived the landlady was rude, unwelcoming and abrupt. We actually only stayed for 1 drink and then left as we were made to feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome! I think unless you are a regular / local to the pub,...you’re not particularly wanted or welcome there. Customer service was honestly non existent from the landlady, however there was a very friendly young waitress with blonde hair. That was the first and last time we will be going to The White Hart!More
