We went here yesterday for a late breakfast - we were a large group and so 2 big tables had been booked. All of us were happily shattered after our son's wedding the previous day at nearby Hedingham Castle. We received such a lovely warm...welcome! The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful - they were fantastic! The food was great, all beautifully cooked and prompt. Well done Winner's Tearooms, you were spot on!More

Sixteen of us called in for a post-wedding breakfast. We were all tired from the exertions of the previous day, and to be honest wondering if reserving a couple of tables had been a good idea. However, we were welcomed with an amazing generosity, beaming...smiles and an illuminated sign board commemorating the event. We had excellent service, a variety of brilliantly cooked food and a luscious selection of drinks. two hours later, we were sill buzzing. Would we visit here again? most certainly. It really doesn't get much better than this folks. Stumbled upon this little Gem in idyllic Finchingfield, their ethos is Eat, drink and Be Happy and it certainly lived up to it. Walking in being greeted by a very pretty and jolly Shanie who was...very busy and still managed to serve us with a broad smile . The place radiates a happy energy . A very quaint old fashioned feel with modern touches Loved that they had proper sea salt and black peppercorns . They had the old fashioned cubed brown and white sugar. I was given a small pot of marmalade to go with my delicious and ample vegetarian breakfast. We were very surprised to learn that the place was not owner managed because in my experience only owner managed places are run to this standard. As our only negative of the experience was the music . Weekday music should be far more mellow like Clannad or Kenny G. We fed that back to a very cordial and smiling Sam who assured us he will pass this feedback to the owners. We want to also feedback to the owners how lucked out you are at having such amazing staff , thank you to them for making the experience so special and wonderful for us . We certainly will recommend this lovely place to our friends and family. The tea and breakfast was amazing including avacados for vegans which is so healthy and delicious. The sausages were perfectly cooked and we both agreed it was the best vegetarian breakfast we have had and we've eaten in 4 star hotels. Kudos to all and long many you continue and see you again when we get the chance to visit again . This breakfast will see anyone through until evening supper , such a good size portion rare to find these days. Congratulations to the team for all being such Winners and we were so impressed we decided to post the review straight away and no one even asked us to post a review like most places do ! The Winner’s breakfast is delicious and well worth a trip to Finchingfield. A very sizeable mug of tea too! Great service. All around excellent!

We've been here twice and each time they have forgotten our order. First time it was just two takeaway coffees which they kept us waiting 20 mins for before admitting they had forgotten them. Second time they brought our coffees to a filthy outside table...(said they would clean it but didn't until we asked twice) and then forgot our food - two simple rolls. Reminded them after about 25 mins and they said they would sort it. !5 mins later we were still waiting. Went in to ask what had happened only to be told they would 'start making our order now'. We cancelled in disgust and asked for a refund. They had plenty of staff on but they all seemed cluseless. Not winners - losers.More

We've been here a few times for lunch and enjoyed every visit. Food and drinks are lovely, and perfectly priced. Always a good atmosphere in there and a perfect view out in to the village! Service can be a bit slow in busy periods, but...that comes with being a successful cafe! Everyone wants to try it out. Well done guysMore

What a super place to start your day! We had a lovely breakfast served by great staff and the chef was super . Everything laid out nicely on our plate well worth the value ! We recommend this place highly

My wife & I visited Winners tearooms after watching GMB on Monday, we were not disappointed what a gem we discovered, friendly staff, great food and plenty of it.

Popped in for lunch today and as always the food and coffee was amazing. The staff were so busy being bank holiday Monday but they were still so polite and smiley as always. Well done all of you!

Finchingfield is the most beautiful hamlet, a photographic oppertunity in any direction. Winners is the perfect place to stop. Inside and outside seating and car parking close by; its also dog friendly. Good range of food and swift service.
