The best value/quality mix in the Alpilles. Run by a Belgian family with the Husband the chef and the charming and always welcoming wife running the restaurant in the small hotel it is a not so hidden secret for locals. Not budget but exceptional value. The food is always inventive, delicious and a delightfully presented. The wine list is very... More

Mas du Capoun restaurant Of 5 nights in the area we ate here 3 times (same menu for a week but 6 choices of starters and main courses). No a la carte - set menu for €39 incl cheese or quality desserts. In the main the food was really good to excellent. Though I found some portions too big. Particularly... More

Le Mas du Capon is a really lovely and very stylish restaurant with rooms in the sleepy little village of Molleges. About 15 minutes from the hustle bustle of Saint-Remy. We had a wonderful dinner, that began with the warmest of welcomes from the owner. For a fixed price of e39 you get a really splendid meal that could not... More

We visit this restaurant as two mature couples 2 or 3 times a year. It is spectacularly good , how they do it is a mystery, but it knocks most other restaurants into a cocked hat. We always go at lunchtime, and for the cost it's amazing !

Regular visitors these days to Provence, we always try and lunch at Mas du Capoun weekly. We have never been disappointed - the food, the service, the decor, the ambience, and not forgetting the value are just great. A lovely warm welcome from Michele sets the tone - and we are already looking foraward to being back next week!

I was told about Mas de Capoun by a friend as we were looking for a restaurant close to St. Remy on a Monday when a lot of places are closed. Although there for the first time we were warmly greeted like regulars. The lunch menu is a steal - 25 € for three courses, 2 glasses of wine pp... More

I won a gift certificate to Mas du Capoun in a charity fundraiser and visited for lunch in April 2016. The food was fantastic and the hosts were lovely. The duck main course was a particular favorite with our group. We were staying in St. Remy, and Mas du Capoun was well worth the short drive (~15 minutes). If we'd... More

Lovely meal on our last night in Provence in a small town close to St. Remy but better prices. Lovely lady from Belgium welcomes you - her husband is the chef. Packed with locals and tourists alike. Wonderful desserts. Beware that GPS takes you down some narrow roads!

We visited as a group for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The limited menu was at first a worry for some of us but the hostess took time to explain each dish and reassure nervous eaters and in the end we all had a marvellous dining experience. Great service by bilingual staff and a great wine selection.

we had a wonderful dinner, excellent food cooked by the chef Parton. The restaurant is located in the summer in a large open barn which is beautifully restored. The service was very good and we had a superb evening
