Excellent from beginning to end. From the staff, timing of orders taken and delivered and quality of produce.

Very nice cafe tucked away in the centre of Ribchester, beside the car park. Very good sandwiches and nice selection of cakes.Lovely spot outside when the weathers good too.
A really lovely place with incredible staff who we’re absolutely wonderful. We painted pottery and there was a brilliant selection with loads of colours to choose from - absolutely recommend to everyone! We had coffee too which was perfect
First visit and hidden gem. The menu was varied and all food home cooked and hot. Excellent customer service. Open fire was wonderful and so cosy. Inside the seating is nice and comfortable. Menu excellent and spoilt for choice. Cakes to die for. Definitely on...my must come back listMore
We loved this little quirky venue. The food seemed expensive for what it was but we really enjoyed the cosy feel and the quirky style.

My wife and I called in for lunch. Despite not having booked, the staff made us feel really welcome, and soon we were seated in the small secluded garden. The menu is varied and we were hard-pressed to choose- everything sounded delicious. Finally, we both...settled for one of the specials; the Ploughmans. When it arrived, it was as good as we had hoped, loads of ham, two sausage rolls, three different local cheeses, salad and chutney. The location of the cafe is perfect, located near both the car park and the Roman museum and bath house ruins. The staff were competent, professional and freindly- what more can we say. we will be back, hopefully very soon.More
We have been to a few pottery painting parties here and had a really good time so we decided to paint and eat here ourselves over the holidays. The food is really tasty and it is a lovely little setting and I am so glad...it does well for itself. The major let down of the barn, and what I have experienced each time we have visited and from comments from other people who have been- is how brusque and candid the owner can be- to both paying customers and staff. I honestly can’t believe there aren’t more comments about it on here. I realise you are busy and people may accidentally get in the way when they walk into the small entrance, or ask you for the price of something, but just be patient and kind to people- we very nearly walked back out the way we were greeted when we arrived and this really does put me off returning which is such a shame.More
Myself and my little girl (5) had lunch and painted a pot here. Food was yummy - I had the Korma. Really tasty and lots of it. Lots of choice of pots to paint. It isn't the cheapest but a lovely activity in a nice...setting. Coffee, cake and icecream also yummy. Would highly recommend.More
What a gem of a place in this cute little village Set next to a large field, wooden playground & basketball court. Pay & Display car park next to it. Outdoor seating , some covered. Seating inside and a small amount upstairs Quirky and different...items for sale upstairs. Toilets upstairs All the staff we dealt with were lovely and friendly and helpful Out of the 4 of us, 2 of us chose to paint a pot and we have to collect them in a week when they have been in the kiln. Not cheap to paint a pot, a side plate and a small square pot were £31 in total The food was lovely and fresh Definitely would recommendMore
Wonderful little cafe. Owner and staff were lovely! Really warm and welcoming. Had ice cream and drinks. Will definitely be returning!
A wonderful venue. Very friendly staff. All round fabulous. Somehow, they turn the traditional English Breakfast into something you associate with home and good times. Very much recommended!
After visiting the churchyard and taking a dog walk down by the lovely river , I decided to stop off at the barn to grab a drink. I was pleasantly surprised that the barn was dog friendly both outside and inside, so I took a...nice comfy sofa seat by the window. As the menu contained plenty of lovely dishes I ordered a goats cheese & onion tart to go with my drink. The food was delicious and substantial. The service was friendly and prompt, I even got biscuits for the dog. A lovely place, pretty full for a lunchtime and nice to find somewhere open on a MondayMore
Came here for lunch with our toddler. Lovely setting and we thought we had found a fab little cafe. Unfortunately we were very wrong. We ordered to paininis which were nice enough but a bit small and a cheese sandwich for the toddler. The sandwich...was made with a crust of bread which apart being laughable would have been extremely difficult for a toddler to chew through. I sent this back and the next sandwich that came was warm. They had clearly defrosted the bread in a microwave and the cheese was semi melted on it. It was appalling. When I sent this back i told them it was warm and that we had now been waiting 40 minutes for 2 panini's and a sandwich. I was told by the waitress that they were very busy as 2 members of staff had called in sick and they had served 80 people today. I'm the paying customer. I couldn't care less what your staffing situation is. My priority was getting my hungry child fed and it's not easy entertaining a toddler for that long in that situation. Not got enough staff then inform people there will be a wait or don't be greedy and stop doing take out so the staff can keep up. Pretty sure we were over charged as well but by this time my toddler was long overdue her nap so I just paid and left.More
