Minori, named after one of the most beautiful towns on Italy’s Southern Amalfi Coast, is Hatch End’s most eco-friendly pizzeria. Aiming to be plastic free, zero waste, and contributing minimal carbon emissions, it heralds a green revolution in Italian dining. Serving several types of authentic Italian dough, with an exclusive oven for gluten free diners, all topped with freshly imported ingredients direct from Southern Italy, Vincenzo Gian Petro leads the kitchen as one of the top pizza chefs in the UK. The restaurant was warm on a cold night and the employees gave us a friendly, but not OTT, welcome. There was a wide range of customer ages, a good atmosphere and about seventy-five per cent of the tables were occupied. The menu listed a good range of Italian food, which was served without undue delay. The waiting people were efficient and gave excellent service. The food was delicious. I had bruschetta and paccheri alla Norma, and recommend both. The toilets were clean, and I feel the cost was good value for money. Hopefully, I will revisit soon. Well done Minori people.

Fantastic restaurant with such great service and really tasty food, not to mention the generous portions! We booked Minori for my mum’s 70th birthday celebration, and the team were brilliant in accommodating our group of 21 guests. The preparation and communication in advance of the day, and the consideration during the event, were great. Particular thanks go to Felicia and Rita, for their friendliness and warmth of service, and for ensuring the celebration went so smoothly :)

As someone who has visited Minori many times with different groups of friends and family, I felt very disappointed with the service and food on my recent visit and am sad to see that the customer service has declined. The business seem to have become more business focused rather than customer focused and this is reflected in their service and food offerings. For example, as a vegetarian we wanted to switch a meat ingredient to a vegetarian ingredient on a pizza to make it vegetarian. They refused to do this which seemed ludacris and illogical. We specifically asked for the food to be spicy and made this clear. When we asked if the chef could add chill we were told this would cost extra for adding chillies?! We asked for the food to be spicy and it was far from this. We found the food on this occasion average at best. Finally, the service from the older waitress felt hostile. We had brought a cake and she tried to pretend that regulations had changed so they refused to even store the cake and wouldn’t let us eat it. She then said instead of cake, we’d could buy deserts which showed to us it was purely a business commercial decision. It was crazy they wouldn’t even store the cake for us, when we threatened to leave to go elsewhere, they quickly changed their mind. The waitress then purposely later ruined the surprise of us having a cake by making it known at the table we had bought a cake even though we had arrived early to give the cake (she knew it was a surprise as we had told her). Due the above, we won’t be returning again and will be sharing this experience with others. It’s a shame they are thinking from a business perspective rather than a customer perspective with their silly new rules.

Very poor food and customer service. Been here a couple of times before so thought we would try it for a family members 60th birthday. To celebrate the occasion we bought a cake but were told when we came in that due to ‘regulations’ we weren’t allowed to eat it in there, although as a nice gesture they would let the person blow the candles out but then we have to order their desserts instead. In other words they just want to make more money! What was more shocking was after we reluctantly agreed we then asked them to store the cake in the fridge and even that was too much trouble and apparently a health and safety issue. Food wise very average, not worth the price. Any minor changes you make even if you swap one ingredient out for another they still want to charge full price plus for the additional ingredient. They have chosen short term profits over long term customer satisfaction and gain as it’s safe to say we won’t be returning.

It was a lovely sunny Sunday and surprisingly fairly empty apart from a big party, which were placed at one end of the restaurant. When we walked in the waitress first wanted us to sit near the party to which I said no, as I I preferred to sit at the other end by the window ( which was more quiet) and there was a table for 4 free. All other tables were empty apart from one. The waitress had no reason to say no to my request but she did. Her excuse was that it was a table for 4 and we were a couple. Which I would have understood apart from the fact that another couple was sitting at a table for 4 and that was perfectly ok to her. After we had our starters the other waitress a younger lady was prepared to offer another couple who come in the table of 4 by the window. She had no problem and manners a lot better. Our waitresses brash service was disappointing and she didn’t even ask what we thought of the food. Being regularly diners we decided whilst at the restaurant that we shall start going to the Italians across the road. Dining is not just about the food but the service and experience. We all ask our friends and family of our opinions when we dine out. Please remember that.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The service is an absolute joke. How these lot are still in business I don't understand. Half and hour we entered we had to get someone just to take our order. She said she could only take a drink order and someone else will take a good order. must have been another 30min before someone (the manager I think) came to take food order. At that point we all just ordered starters and mains. Starters took about another 40min to come and then mains took another 90min. Absolute shamble. They got our order wrong on multiple occasions. Got drinks order wrong. I also observed our customers making complaints. The food was absolutely rubbish. No flavour and tasted like rubber. I've been to way better Italian restaurants this this one. Also the food is very expensive for what it is. £13 for a gnocchi. Portion size wasn't even that big. The biggest stinker is when I asked for the service charge to be taken off the manager came to challenge me. I explained politely that the service was slow. Rather than offer me an apology. She just said the restaurant was busy. At that point I made her aware it's discretionary and I didn't want to pay to which she gave a rude response and walked off. On my exit once my family left I made her aware of her behaviour and also her staff behaviour and all the mistakes they made. Avoid this place if you can. It's a pile of crap!! Also Rahil P the "marketing manager" learn to do some maths before you reply to comments and write long essays you fool. A simple sorry for the rubbish service would have been enough. But to retaliate just shows how awful you guys really are and can't take criticism. Please close down as you lots are useless bottom to top!

This is an excellent, albeit quite basic restaurant in regard to the fit-out. It is very typically Italian and has a menu that is similar to what you would find in Italy. The service is excellent, the food is scrumptious and value for money, cetrainly in Hatch End cannot be beaten. The menu is wide and varied and there's something for everyone. I'm amazed to see some one star reviews here, but I've eaten here with my family 20+ times over the last three years and never had a bad meal or been let down by the service. I would highly recommend a visit to Minori, its a good as Minori itself.

Have passed by a couple of time's as we normally get fish and chips on a Saturday but restaurant was closed so thought we would give it a try. What a wonderful experience a really varied menu and very friendly staff and reasonable prices. We had whitebait, prawns and rosemary focaccia for starters. Main course veal and spaghetti and a meat ball and spaghetti together with a seafood linguine. Our grandson who is just approaching 4 had a margarita pizza which he demolished. I must say the staff treated him like an adult and asked him what he wanted very impressed. For dessert we had Italian ice cream a chocolate fudge together with a couple of speciality cakes. We will definitely revisit as felt unrushed an the food exceeded our expectations.

Visited for Sunday lunch with an eye on the specials. Owner has recently introduced an extensive delicatessen section which includes flavoured virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegars! Having been offered some we both decided to have some salad dishes and I also found a special that was particularly tempting! We both had homemade sourdough bread with olives and Minestrone Soup and I went for Tricolore Salad with oil and balsamic added, a flavoursome experience. For mains, my wife gad Tuna Salad and I opted for 'Feather of Beef on Truffle Mashed Potatoes'. As it turned out, great choice, succulent and very tasty! We are regular visitors to Minori and have never been disappointed. Minori is a Pizzeria but the al a carte menu and specials board present some very tasty main course meals, the kitchen works very hard and deserves compliments!

Walk ins- were told by Felicia that we could only have the table for an hour. After being seated, no-one came to take our order for a good 10 minutes and had to call someone as we were only given the table for an hour. Food arrived quickly. Pizza was really good. Lasagne was cooked nicely although a little bland. No-one came to check if everything was ok or ask if we wanted anything else. The restaurant was still quite empty so don’t understand why they made such a fuss about the table being free for only an hour. We were there for almost 2 hours and were practically ignored throughout that time!

Dear customer, We have investigated your review.

Firstly, we ask that you make an effort and be competently able to stick to your booking, both in time and persons, especially on a Friday night.

Secondly, are you claiming you sat here for 190 minutes, from 7:30pm, taking you past our closing time?

Thirdly, no drinks orders were wrong (cross checked between cctv and your order), the only instance was a full-grown adult asking for a baby Marinara, and been given a baby Margherita, which was replaced 4 minutes later, and one portion of chips that didn’t show, which was immediately removed from your bill.

Having reviewed our cctv, we can definitively state your wait times of 8 minutes to be seated, 14 for the Manageress herself to take the time to come get your order. Starters took 21 minutes to arrive from time of order, and mains 16 minutes after your table was cleared of starters.

Some clarifications that may help: - In efforts and good faith, to accommodate you and your ever changing booking, we gave you the VIP room (usually £50) free of charge, which you fail to account for or mention. - The reason you disputed service charge was (and in your own words) “it’s discretionary, do I have to pay it? If not, take it off.” No verbal response aside from “Fine sir, I will take it off” was given. - On the way out you stopped by the manageress, “I didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of my family but some of the food didn’t arrive on time, and your service was very slow” to which you were met with a response of “I do apologise sir, thank you very much for the comments.” We would appreciate a truthful, fully accounted for review, with some self-awareness, vs your current attitude of being infallible. Regards, Minori.

The food itself was not too much of an issue it was the staff and service that was disappointing. We did not want a certain item on our food, they refused to swap it for us without any explanation and instead charged an extra £1.50 for something else and got rid of the other item. The staff appeared un-interested and took a long time to do everything. We went a pretty quiet time, there were only 3 other tables that were occupied. Yet the three staff on duty were only attending to one table and totally ignored us. I am not sure if it is because they were regular there. It took so long to get us an extra spoon and to ask for the bill- we were literally being ignored. We spoke to the manager after who did not apologise or seem to understand where we were coming from and was also interested in just 1 table whilst totally ignoring all the other customers. I will not be attending again due to the service and poor attitude of the staff and manager. The tables were also dirty and had stain marks on them. The food itself was okay.

A mixed bag for me. The starters were great, such as my King prawns and the goat's cheese. However, the main course of veal was bland and the beetroot salad disapointing. They forgot the salad and when it arrived it was just pieces of beetroot with some sort of root vegetable. The non alcoholic cocktails were good but expensive.

A visit to Minori Pizzeria in Hatch End is always lovely. It feels like being at home…but better, which is why we travel from South Buckinghamshire to eat there. Always busy and lots of families come in so small children through to grandparents but don’t let this put you off as it just settles into a buzz of chat and good times. The décor is sunny and together it all combines to create a very genuine Italian Pizzeria vibe. But the main reason to go to Minori is of course, the food. Fresh pizza, made on site in their own wood fired oven that you can see at the back of the restaurant so you know how fresh they are; great choice of toppings and these are large pizzas! Pasta is also fresh. and the crab linguini was perfect. Full of crab, just enough chilli and the linguini cooked properly ‘al dente’ so with a bit of a bite. My partner had the wild boar lasagne and as I was allowed a forkful, I can confirm it packed a lovely meaty punch. Our teenagers loved the Nutella pizza with sprinkles, but it beat even them, so the leftovers came home in a box. Good wine list and coffee is their own roast of which they are rightly proud. Staff are friendly, overseen by Felicia and if you’re lucky the owner Andy may even be around checking everyone is happy.
