We ate lunch at this restaurant today from its early bird menu. I was surprised that the choice was so extensive for both the starters and the main courses. The portions would have kept a rugby player very happy and the food was nicely presented and served hot. I also ordered a mint tea and was delighted to see that it was made with fresh mint. The service was excellent and we would certainly go there again.

Having visited a number of times over the years, Casa Mia can always be relied on for its consistent delivery of wholesome food and a friendly, personal service. Casa Mia offer an extensive menu with lots of veggie options for my meatless friends. And is always good value for decent food. I wish the staff and owner many more years of continued success and look forward to coming again.

Small local restaurant on the uxbridge road. Limited street parking available. The service was excellent. Waitresses quickly delivered the menu and took our order efficiently and all with a smile. The food service was equally good and the bill was delivered on request. I ordered an arrabbiata pasta dish which was served with chicken. The pasta was overcooked - I had expected al dente. Dessert was huge and very tasty - tirimasu

We've visited Casa Mia before and enjoyed the food and especially the unique design of the interior which has been built to give the impression that you are eating outside. This was one of the pluses for us. Equally the food is traditional Italian so I managed to get my Veal Milanese (most Italian chains don't serve this). My wife, who is transiting to vegetarian/Vegan/non gluten food was pleased with the breakdown on the menu showing these categories and others and had a conversation about the food options with the knowledgeable waitress so another plus. What she didn't like was that you had to order (and pay more) your side dishes seperately. I'd noticed this practise last time we ate there, it's quite old fashioned to do this these days as it's such an obvious way of adding to the bill and the main courses weren't noticeably less expensive that restaurants including sides with the dish. Also the offer is always for ' a selection of vegetables' so the restaurant gets to decide what to provide, this is a negative. The biggest negative and what really spoiled the evening was the number of people dining. It's great for the restaurant to squeeze as many people in as possible but for the diner it didn't provide for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The owner(?) spent the entire time rushing around to meet the demand and the tables were so closely packed that it proved impossible to move between them without disturbing diners and this is what I experienced when we were leaving which was uncomfortable for me to disturb other tables to be able to leave. It's a shame, the ambiance is good, the food is good, the bill was on the slightly high side of reasonable (and we didn't have any additional sides apart from one portion of chips and only one glass of wine and some water) at £41 for 2 main dishes, one side, one glass of wine, one bottle of water, the sneaky charge for the olives and bread served but not ordered but let down so much by the claustrophobic and stressful atmosphere, my wife actually said it was a waste of £40 because it just wasn't an enjoyable experience. Sad...........we won't be returning

My wife and I and two friends dined at Casa Mia last night, New Year's Eve.   It was a truly memorable and enjoyable evening.   We had expected to have a meal but were not even sure if they were staying open until midnight.  In the event the meal was superb with a good number of choices, including lobster and fillet steak.   I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The price was a fixed price £59.95, three course, to include a glass of Prosecco. The music was just right and there was unexpectedly dancing later in the evening between the tables, and which we enjoyed joining in.   The management and staff had gone to a great deal of trouble to provide party hats, noisy blowers, party poppers and crackers.   The piece de resistance near the end of the evening was the firework display outside, which must have gone on for at least twenty minutes.   We did not leave until well after midnight. It was probably the best New Year's Eve we have ever experienced!

We had booked this restaurant for a family birthday celebration, and had heard good reviews for the restaurant. We managed to get a booking for a Saturday evening at 7.00pm. After sitting down and being given menus, we had to wait for over 20 minutes to even order, and the staff said they could only take drink orders. Once we finally managed to order our food, we were delighted with the options available for vegetarians and the food was actually very nice. We then asked for menus for dessert, and while we were deciding what to eat, a very rude member of staff came and waited at the table for our order. As half the family was still deciding she began to snatch the menus back from us, and we were unable to finish our order. I asked if we could have one menu to order a hot drink with our dessert, and a different staff member came over and said we were not able to order a drink as they needed the table for another group that was waiting. They then brought our desserts out immediately and the bill while we were still eating. We can understand that there was a large group waiting for two tables to be seated, but not once had we been told (Even while booking) that we had to leave the table by 8:30. Once again I can understand if there is a limit on how long a reservation may be held, but the fact it had taken at least a half hour before we could even order our food and then being asked to rush and leave due to another group wanting a table was ridiculous. Completely ruined the entire evening, and the staffs attitude was appalling. Will not be returning due to the awful service we experienced despite the delicious food, we will look elsewhere.

Together with two friends, we booked Casa Mia, some months ago, for a meal on New Years Eve. We wanted a local restaurant where we could easily get an Uber cab so we could all have a drink. We really only expected a meal and wine and we were not even sure if they would close before midnight. What we actually got was a fantastic evening. They produced a special fixed price, and surprisingly extensive, menu. The food was really good and the service outstanding. The staff were really friendly and we were all given party hats and poppers, together with prosecco. As the evening went on we had music, ranging from “Over the Rainbow” to “Rock around the Clock” and then dancing between the tables. At midnight we all moved out on to the street for a full on 15 minute firework display. The staff worked so hard to put on a great evening and joined in with the festivities. It was a shame for them that the restaurant was only about 80% full because some bookings did not turn up. I hope they at least broke even and next year they should perhaps request a deposit. Thank you Casa Mia for a great night.

Our 12 year old son and his 5 friends went to Casa Mia last night. He ordered garlic bread without cheese and it was brought WITH cheese. His fillet steak was full of gristle. This is inexcusable. Obviously the staff saw a group of kids and failed to provide them with the same level of service and food quality that they would to an adult. The boys, being “kids” didn't complain and didn't send anything back. Regardless of their age, they were paying for their food and deserved to be treated the same as any customer. My son said the food is “rubbish” and they wont be going back there. I am totally disgusted with this restaurant. They stupidly don't realise todays kids are tomorrow’s customers.

This restaurant is in the main high street of Hatch End. Double fronted with windows looking onto the path. The Early Bird menu is 2 courses for £15 +10% service. Excellent value, well cooked and presented. There is also a comprehensive a la carte menu if required . The restaurant has a full bar. Service is good and staffer polite.

Went for Early Bird menu. Got there just after 6pm. Had to ask twice for our order to be taken. Took ages. Had to ask for bread and butter as starter took a long to to arrive. Eventually the starters came and then we waited 40 mins for plates to be cleared. No main courses arrived. Very noisy as had two large tables in but no-one had any food. After about another 25 mins wait and still no food, we went to complain and was told the meals would be 2 minutes! We said if the meals were not produced shortly, we were going to leave! . Our main meals came about 10 mains later and the food was obviously not cooked fresh and the vegetables were stone cold. At this point , after an hour and 40 minute wait, we said we were leaving! We asked how much we owed and to her credit the manageress said nothing. So we left. There was obviously a problem in the kitchen as none of the tables had food on them. If the front of house staff had explained they a problem and perhaps offered a drink, by way of compensation, it might have helped diffuse the situation, instead of being ignored!! Sorry but we , and our friends, will not be returning! Especially when, in Hatch End, there is a wealth of restaurants to choose from!

We went to Casa Mia because Dona Teresa next door where we had booked was unbearably noisy with a huge party taking up the whole length of the restaurant so we walked out. In Casa Mia the garlic mushrooms were heaving in grease and I couldn't taste the garlic. I sent the halibut back as totally overcooked and dry. The next piece they brought wasnt much better. All most unappetising and I left there feeling hungry and nauseous. Was cold in there too. . Decaf coffee was bitter. I left most of my meal and the coffee. I can eat much better at home and not have to pay nearly £30 per head. Needless to say I wont be going back there and suggest everyone else crosses it off their list. .

Went a couple of weeks in a party of five for a birthday celebration. The tables were packed in with every available inch of floor space covered. This obviously affected the ambience of the place as way too crowded. There were only two waitresses working who were run off their feet and should have had some help. Due to this there was no time for any interaction with the staff and the service was hurried and items forgotten. Average wait per course was 40 minutes which was not a problem for us as we were out for the evening anyway but I could hear other patrons complaining around us. The food was mediocre at best and the T-bone steak greasy and unpalatable. Lamb chops were tiny but ok and the ravioli the only saving grace of the main course meals that we had. Maybe the staff shortage was because of illness or maybe the restaurant think that here are enough. Well, there aren't. Wouldn't go back as way too many tables crammed into the place and the food was really a disappointment.

We met my sister for an early bird meal on a week day night at 6 pm. We were shown to our table, and given both the early bird menu and regular one. We decided to eat off of the early bird one, priced at £15.95 for 2 courses. We ordered prawn cocktail, tempura prawns and avocado 🥑 and tomatoes, all were nice portions. Mains were lamb shank for me, fell away from the bone, nice and tasty, hot and came with nice veg, my sister had haddock in a nice sauce she loved it, and hubby had chicken schnitzel with spaghetti 🍝 he loved it. My sister and I were to full but there was tirimisu on the menu that hubby had he was in heaven. Good amount of parking in service road or car park behind the shops on the other side of road . All the witnesses were friendly, and the price is extremely good for what you get on your plate we will definitely return

First time visitor. Came with family to Eat out to Help out. It was very busy - in fact we got our booking much later than the time we wanted. A lot of people who hadn't booked were being turned away. I like the design of the inside - very nicely done. The staff were friendly but as they were very busy, they were rushing to serve everyone in reasonable time. Food was lovely and tasty. The portions were huge and were full up after the main meal so decided to give desserts a miss. The bonus was that it was half price! We will definitely be coming back some time in the future.

We had booked a table for 8 people on the 31st December 23 to celebrate New years even at Casa mia . We got a call from a lady to confirm our reservation 24 hours before & that’s when she mentioned it will be a set menu & we said we were not advise to us when we made the reservation a month ago so she said we can have Ala Carte menu but it will be a 2 hour slot which we accepted . Upon arrival we were seated on our table & we asked for the Ala carte menu all the 3 servers barely speak English looks confused & told us the chef will take your order & handed us the Ala carte menu we gave our orders however the chef seemed very abrupt & angry spoke very little English couldn’t understand a word he was saying . After we finished our meal one of the server handed us the set menu to order our deserts that's when we said we did not have set meal so don't need the menu she looked at us all confused , called the chef who than started screaming & shouting saying i told you even if you order from ala carte menu you will be charged for set meal , all we had for starters was garlic bread, olives & had main course each so we were explaining to him it was agreed with the lady who confirmed our reservation but he was not ready to listen kept screaming at us in Italian/broken English we were so embarrassing as everyone was looking at us , he said you pay GBP65 per person set meal & that’s it & left . so one of my cousin went up to the reception & explained all this & the lady agreed & confirmed to us she was the one who had agreed we can have ala carte menu at this point chef heard her came shouting & telling my cousin ' You pay & get out of the restaurant '. We got our bill paid for it & the lady apologies to us on behalf of the chefs. we will never go back to this restaurant absolutely disgusting customer service.
