This is the worst dinner we have had in a restaurant for years. Don't be mislead by the photos & good reviews, as it is a pie in the sky. The salad was an insult of withering rockets leaves, and the risotto was awful,old probably...heated many times before. Nothing was fresh.The restaurant was crowded and we had to ask for service a few times. Never again.More
Attended for my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday. Service was awful - took an hour for the starters and a further hour for mains. When challenged, the answer was “what d’you want me to do, sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s not!”….like this appeared normal. Food was...so awful - like something from the 1970s. Chicken escalope was battered to within an inch of its life, deep fried and so heavily breaded that needed a steak knife to cut through it and a strong jaw to chew it. Pasta was over cooked. Bread was microwaved to make it warm, to the point that it started re-baking to a chewy dough. Salad was brown lettuce and risotto had way more bite than it should have. Bottled water was good.More
We met my sister for an early bird meal on a week day night at 6 pm. We were shown to our table, and given both the early bird menu and regular one. We decided to eat off of the early bird one, priced at...£15.95 for 2 courses. We ordered prawn cocktail, tempura prawns and avocado 🥑 and tomatoes, all were nice portions. Mains were lamb shank for me, fell away from the bone, nice and tasty, hot and came with nice veg, my sister had haddock in a nice sauce she loved it, and hubby had chicken schnitzel with spaghetti 🍝 he loved it. My sister and I were to full but there was tirimisu on the menu that hubby had he was in heaven. Good amount of parking in service road or car park behind the shops on the other side of road . All the witnesses were friendly, and the price is extremely good for what you get on your plate we will definitely returnMore
The food was very ordinary. The garlic bread was burnt and not edible. The chicken dish i ordered was horrible. The meat was hard and the sauce was tasteless. I will not recommend going there.
Small local restaurant on the uxbridge road. Limited street parking available. The service was excellent. Waitresses quickly delivered the menu and took our order efficiently and all with a smile. The food service was equally good and the bill was delivered on request. I ordered...an arrabbiata pasta dish which was served with chicken. The pasta was overcooked - I had expected al dente. Had a lovely meal at Casa Mia and was transported to Italy with the unique setting. For starters I had the prawn torpedo which was tempura prawns- not sure how Italian this is but it was delicious all the same! My partner had the bruschetta...which was nice, although the bread was very doughy. The mains were lovely. My partner was pleased that he could have pasta with his veal main, with his own choice of sauce. The highlight of the meal was definitely the cheesecake and I would go as far to say it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!! Really good value for money and will visit again soon, even just for the cheesecake!More
Went for a catch up with 10 friends last night at Casa Mia in Hatch End. They have a Xmas menu special for lunch or dinner! 2 courses £20.95 or 3 courses £25.95 (see menu pic). The mushroom starter was divine 😋 If you like...mushrooms & garlic, you're on to a winner and great portion size too! I had the seabass for main which was lovely and served with creamy mash, carrots, beans and cauliflower cheese...but also tried the lamb shank and the sirloin steak which were also very good! Everyone was happy with their meal and nothing sent back. Am giving them an 8.5/10. We ate lunch at this restaurant today from its early bird menu. I was surprised that the choice was so extensive for both the starters and the main courses. The portions would have kept a rugby player very happy and the food was nicely presented...and served hot. I also ordered a mint tea and was delighted to see that it was made with fresh mint. The service was excellent and we would certainly go there again.More
A disappointing sunday lunch.... Breaded chickem was different to the menu Potatoes were the badly warmed days before leftovers The boilded vegetables were tasteless The black peppercorns sauce for steak was worst than packet bought.. Went for Early Bird menu. Got there just after 6pm. Had to ask twice for our order to be taken. Took ages. Had to ask for bread and butter as starter took a long to to arrive. Eventually the starters came and then we waited...40 mins for plates to be cleared. No main courses arrived. Very noisy as had two large tables in but no-one had any food. After about another 25 mins wait and still no food, we went to complain and was told the meals would be 2 minutes! We said if the meals were not produced shortly, we were going to leave! . Our main meals came about 10 mains later and the food was obviously not cooked fresh and the vegetables were stone cold. At this point , after an hour and 40 minute wait, we said we were leaving! We asked how much we owed and to her credit the manageress said nothing. So we left. There was obviously a problem in the kitchen as none of the tables had food on them. If the front of house staff had explained they a problem and perhaps offered a drink, by way of compensation, it might have helped diffuse the situation, instead of being ignored!! Sorry but we , and our friends, will not be returning! Especially when, in Hatch End, there is a wealth of restaurants to choose from!More

We had lunch at Casa Mia in Hatch End today. The food was delicious and the customer service was polite and friendly. The food was very reasonably priced and the portions were generous. We will be back to try some of the other items on...the menu!More
I come here a lot and have been doing so for years. Food is superb, service excellent and we love the interior. Prices are fair too. Such a great find
Went a couple of weeks in a party of five for a birthday celebration. The tables were packed in with every available inch of floor space covered. This obviously affected the ambience of the place as way too crowded. There were only two waitresses working...who were run off their feet and should have had some help. Due to this there was no time for any interaction with the staff and the service was hurried and items forgotten. Average wait per course was 40 minutes which was not a problem for us as we were out for the evening anyway but I could hear other patrons complaining around us. The food was mediocre at best and the T-bone steak greasy and unpalatable. Lamb chops were tiny but ok and the ravioli the only saving grace of the main course meals that we had. Maybe the staff shortage was because of illness or maybe the restaurant think that here are enough. Well, there aren't. Wouldn't go back as way too many tables crammed into the place and the food was really a disappointment.More
Having visited a number of times over the years, Casa Mia can always be relied on for its consistent delivery of wholesome food and a friendly, personal service. Casa Mia offer an extensive menu with lots of veggie options for my meatless friends. And is...always good value for decent food. I wish the staff and owner many more years of continued success and look forward to coming again.More
