Always seemed to be busy but can reserve in the bar or restaurant. We booked for early evening as we have two large dogs that were welcomed by everyone so ate in the bar. We decided to share the scallops for a starter, locally caught, which were delicious and also share a pud which was equally delicious. There was a... More

Stayed one night near the end December and wished we could have stayed for New Year! Very warm welcome and shown to a beautiful room overlooking the loch - stunning views, especially of the sunset. The bar was a quiet place to enjoy a few drinks and a chat with other patrons and the barmaid was friendly and happy to... More

Nice bar and lounge areas. Restaurant not tried. Friendly enough staff. Overlooks Loch Fyne. At the start of Strachur village after leaving Loch Lomond.

I've been visiting the Creggans every so often for nearly 50 years, so have seen it through several incarnations and it has to be said, this latest one is by far the best. Pleasant bar, great food, excellent views, warm fire - what more could you ask? And if the clouds part for you, sit out on the deck and... More

We first visited the creggans a few years ago and it was wonderful. A recent visit wasn't so successful, but perhaps because of the time of year and because we were the only ones staying overnight. Accommodation was great. Evening restaurant foods was good although the restaurant wasn't open. ND we had to eat in the bar bistro and it... More

We had our wedding meal at Creggans in October. An already wonderful day was enhanced even further by our choice of venue. The food was excellent, the atmosphere and surroundings perfect but above all was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Many thanks to all concerned.. Allan L

We stopped for lunch here on the way home form Tighnabruich. It's a lovely wee place. Very clean and the food was amazing. The staff very friendly and efficient. My hubby had the cullen skink soup and it was one of the nicest I had ever tasted. Worth a visit if your ever out that way.

From the warm welcome, exquisite décor throughout, top notch food and a cosy bar we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding reception. Gill & Archie could not have been more helpful from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and everything went seamlessly. The food was of superb quality all weekend - varied menu at... More
