We had a family dinner here last night on the recommendation of a friend. The place is spectacular! The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. The table side guacamole was the best we have had during our entire stay in all of Mexico. The grilled shrimp cooked to perfection. I highly recommend.

It's a cute place, good live music and I think you need a reservation. Our waiter was nice but he had a lot of tables... so slow service. We ordered "arrachera " and it was bad quality meat. The guacamole is good, but in Cabo guacamole is good everywhere. I think it would be good for a drink and live... More

Great Valentine's Day meal ! The food is authentic and the setting was beautiful. A wonderful gem of true Mexican food. The mole was out of this world!

Two couples were recommended this restaurant by a concierge at the Villa La Estancia. It did not disappoint. We arrived early for our dinner reservation and were promptly seated. We had a great selection of food. We thoroughly enjoyed the special, in which two were served three entrée selections (each chose three separately!). The band started playing at 6:30 and... More

We were looking for some authentic Mexican food, and this place hit the spot! I had the Maria Corona Chicken Mole. The mole sauce was superb. The portion was huge, and I couldn't finish. My companion had the Carnitas--it was fantastic (I wish I would've ordered it). Also a giant portion. Overall, food was great. Service was great too, but... More

The outdoor seating is lovely, and when it turned cold, our server brought me a much-appreciated wrap. When he took our order for guacamole made table-side and we requested no onions, he quickly asked if it's due to an allergy or just preference. The guacamole was really great and the chips were fresh and tasty. Later, Gilmer also brought us... More

Many other travellers we met had suggested we visit as a place for more authentic mexican food ata decent price and it didn't disappoint. It was very quiet when we were there but they still had live entertainment and were in no rush to hurry us out. Good food and good price.

My wife and I went to Maria Corona last night, just as we do on every trip to Cabo. And, as usual, it met and exceeded our expectations!! We shared the molcajate trilogy, which is a total winner!! We each had a glass of Shiraz and shared the flan for dessert... very reasonable. But what really makes this one of... More

Maria Corona is two blocks and a world away from Cabo's tourist-trap marina area. Named after the owner's great-grandmother, Maria Corona delivers truly authentic favorites in a garden setting reminiscent of a countryside hacienda. We started with margaritas - both traditional and the house specialty made with hibiscus, tamarind, and lime. House made tortilla chips came with excellent salsas -... More

What a great surprise. From table side guacamole to the best ceviche my husband has ever had, this place won't disappoint. Our server Gilbert was attentive, always smiling and very courteous. The food was amazing and the live music that accompanied dinner was delightful. We will be back.
