A bit off the beaten path, this place is worth seeking out if you're looking to get a more an authentic Mexican experience outside of the touristic hubs. The prices were terrific and the lobster and steak, and everything in general, were scrumptious. Since arriving in Cabo, It was honestly the first time that I felt transported and reminded that... This was one of the first places we had lunch in Cabo. So glad Berenice at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach recommended it! Still like it.

We stayed at a resort outside of down town. We decided to walk downtown and find a local restaurant to enjoy real Mexican Food. We ran across EL PESCADOR.it has a roof over it but is very near open air eating. It is surrounded by all open window. Very authentic restaurant. Waiter understood English. All were very accommodating and friendly.... More

We've been to Cabo 12 times and try lots of places to eat. We always find our way back to El Pescador every trip. The food is so fresh and tasty. The prices can't be beat either. It's not one of the fancy places along the marina and it's great to get away to a family run restaurant. It was... More

Expensive dish kind of disappointed by the service and the cost. US$16 for a lobster tail lunch, I got two tails the size of a crayfish, my wife only had one and a half ! way too expensive for the food.

To start off, they had the best pico and guacamole we've encountered out in town. Service was very attentive and the food was very good. Don't be put off by the location. Our dinner was great with vegetables, mashed potatoes, and beans as well. I had the Veracruz fish and my husband had the special - not too much -... More

Great Place. If you are looking for a place where the locals eat, here it is. We came in to town for breakfast and started walking the back streets for something different, as we passed this place the waiter asked us to come in and try their breakfast, sure glad he did. We had the huevos rancheros and the chilaquiles... More

I always come here for the garlic shrimp that comes with veggies and mashed potatoes. You also always get chips and salsa to start, and tortillas on the side. Love to post up and watch old Mexican movies or telenovelas with my seafood and Coke. Chill spot with great service and reasonable prices.
