We are boaters and love visiting lovely places by sea . Last year we had 4 nights in West Mersey and visited The Coast twice. This week we revisited West Mersey and The Coast was top of our list . We arrived with our friends and sat down with our pints of Aspells in the sun and had a disaster... More

We found this place by chance. They were really busy but found a table for us. The food was great. Service was really good and the restaurant was really good. I fully recommend this restaurant.

It was one of those 'can't be bothered to cook' days and we popped in to The Coast Inn for a quick bite of lunch. We both eschewed starters (knowing from experience we'd struggle with our main courses if we did) and went straight in with the pan-fried skate wings. Delicious and perfectly cooked as usual and a very decent... More

Went here for drinks over Easter. At 5pm it was a fab. Had a couple of wines. Went back at 8pm and it was bonkers mad-hour. Only recommended this place for day time visits :)

Our first visit recently with and recommended by local friends was a most enjoyable experience. Situated in an excellent location on the coast road, the busy bar with a great atmosphere was a good choice of venue for our pre-dinner drinks. There are tables to sit at both inside and upon the frontage alternatively there is standing at the well... More

Our regular local watering whole, plus a great place for a meal with good quality food. It does get busy though especially at weekends in the summer, so book a table if you want to eat inside or get there early on a nice sunny day to eat out doors.

We had tried other restaurants but all had stopped serving food. When we came across the Coast and saw the menu outside, then asked if they were still serving food, we thought great. "Would you like to get a drink from the bar and I'll find you a table" we were directed. After getting the drinks we were told "I'm... More

Had very nice and chilling afternoon with few drinks here. Very nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. You can still overlook the sea from here. Perfect for any occasion.
