The Gilt Rooms is an excellent venue for breakfast lunch and afternoon tea. The decor is modern and tasteful and the staff could not be more welcoming and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The chef is very talented and the menu...is varied and imaginative and they are always willing to accommodate dietary requirements if they have the ingredients. They have vegan options available. The food is all freshly prepared and the cakes and scones are delicious. The owner is always very pleasant and welcoming as are all the Team. We have visited on several occasions and cannot recommend The Gilt Rooms more highly. It’s our favourite restaurant and on every visit we have been very impressed with both the excellent service and delicious food.More

Friends and I went to the gilt rooms on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays and it was absolutely delightful. The cakes were so beautiful & the sandwiches delicious. The staff were attentive & knowledgeable. We cannot wait to return. If I had to offer one...faultfinding comment (which is hard as it was so nice) I’d ask for a few more savoury bits - but what we did get, we couldn’t even finish and we were given them in boxes to take home.More

The Gilt Rooms are highly recommended for their well presented excellent food, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. There are definitely worth seeking out. Stopped here for lunch. Lovely place, very clean, friendly and helpful staff and the most delicious smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich I have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend.
