Perfect little cafe offering snacky food, ice creams etc at very reasonable prices, with the most exceptional view. Staff friendly and welcoming, plenty of (outdoor) seating, loos and showers available too. This is a magical beach with dolphins in the bay and waterfalls and ‘fairy...homes’ in the woodland just a short stroll away.More
Had a glorious lunch at the Beach Cafe. Bacon Brie and cranberry roll very tasty , panini tuna melt and the special of a fish finger and tartar sauce roll very enjoyable . Followed by gorgeous cakes . Very friendly and helpful people and views...to die for .More
I regularly come to Rosemarkie beach cafe, whether I'm alone, with friends or family or people visiting Inverness. It's a great spot with a wonderful view, the food is very nice. Be mindful that it can get easily crowded at weekends especially if it's sunny....I have been there so many times and I am always happy to come back!More
We’ve been coming to this area for years now but have never walked right to the end of Rosemarkie beach until now. What a little gem we found! A lovely plain and simple and welcoming cafe. There’s nothing pretentious about it, but it has a...large choice of food and drink and icecreams and is very reasonably priced. It’s clean too and has public toilets next door (also reasonably clean). The staff are very welcoming and it has a park and courts next to it, where you can hire basketballs or tennis racquets for a very reasonable price. The beach is beautiful and clean too. Particularly if you are visiting as a family, this is highly recommended as you can sit and enjoy a quiet cuppa while they entertain themselves for a bit. Close by is Fairy Glen, which is definitely worth a visit too. We will definitely return! Thank you 👍🏼More
Seemed an extensive menu but we were only looking for a coffee and cake. Service was quick, coffee was pleasant, cake was excellent.
Me and my partner visited the small village of RoseMarkie during our weekend away in Inverness, the scenery is nice all along the shore line. We visited the beach but stopped off at the café for breakfast first, the café is nicely decorated with seating...inside and outside, the service was excellent and very polite, the women serving told us about the area, the walks we could go on and even checked the tides for us so that we could walk along the beach to the caves. We had 2 bacon sandwiches with coffees for a reasonable price, they were delicious. The place had a nice friendly feel to it where everyone knew everyone but were all welcoming to visitors. The beach was very clean and had nice scenery to enjoy on our walk. We also visited the Fairy Glen Waterfall that the women told us about, it is a nice walk through the woods upto it and the waterfall is very picturesque. Would definitely recommend the area for families or couples who enjoy going for walks.More
Fantastic position on the beach. Plenty of seating outside but also some seats inside. Lovely play area on sand which our two children (aged 4 and 2) really loved. Great food and lovely staff. We had tea and cake after a walk in the beach,...but after quite some time in the play area, we returned for lunch! The lovely member of staff recommended several places to go while we were here on holiday, nearly all of which we've done! And we will be returning to the cafe before we leave for home 😊More
Had a week in Scotland. Decided to go to Rosemarkie beach twice. Lovely clean beach and really heap cafe. Not too busy. Plenty of space to sit on benches. Lovely clean water and beach. Bonus of the tennis courts we played in all afternoon. Only...cost a couple of quid for hire of the rackets. Lovely day out and would recommend to anyone.More
Lovely spot right on the beach. Really good bacon rolls but coffee was extremely cool. You need to check the temperature of your drinks, no excuse for selling cold coffees. I was going to mention this when I returned my dishes but you were busy....Think we will give you a miss in future unless we get our coffee from Croftets!More
Lovely little place just off the beach. Staff super friendly, snacks and coffee lovely too. Would definitely go back again.
Stopped here for coffee and cakes after our hike round Chanonry Point and the Fairy Glen. The staff were friendly and polite even though they were rushed off their feet. delicious mandarin and passion fruit cake
Right on the beach with a lovely view over the Moray Firth. Nice coffee and cake and a good place to visit after walking along the Fairy Glen
Seemed to be 4 or 5 people working in this cafe with a limited menu of rolls, salad and soup so I've absolutely no idea how it could take 30 minutes to make one roll and sausage. Roll was nice enough but service is possibly...the slowest I've encountered anywhere.More
A truly stunning location, my favourite bit of Rosemarkie. Really nice that the toilets are open to all, I think someone mentioned there are showers too. There is a grass field next to the cafe so great for dogs, picnics etc Tennis courts as well...A lovely walk up to the waterfall starts here too. Plenty of seating to take in the view, it is lovely. Coffee was ok although we had to return it for hot drinks as our bacon rolls took so long, average, rolls were dry. You can have a limited menu but make the food good quality and tasty, using local produce and people will return There was only one person working so our first experience was tainted by this but the location is lovely. I have e g9ven my rating based on the location but will return.More
