Stopped off after visiting TE Lawrence's home and grave. Lovely tea room with walled garden. Very clean and well presented. All had homemade scones and tea as they stop sandwiches at 3pm and we were 10mins late. Otherwise would have given 5 Stars. Scones were lovely though.

A real gem of a place with good food and good service. A large menu to cater for all and depending how busy there they would be happy to change things around. Home made cakes, a large garden to eat out side and clean. Food was very good was not expecting that.

We visited the tea rooms and find it reasonably priced, good choice of cakes. Including gluten free, lots of different teas and hot and cold food, friendly staff, and nearby is the ford , great for children and lovely walks

I've been to the Moreton Tea Rooms on a couple of occasions now and think it's a real hidden gem. Set up in an old school, it's got amazing character and has a great shabby chic feel to it. The food is off the charts - the brie and bacon doorstop sandwich is enormous and one of the best sandwiches... More

It's not as bad as the title makes it sound it was just that when we went for coffee, a large group moved next to is and all seemed to be on "transmit" and not quietly either. As the tea room was an old schoolroom the noise travelled a lot. The serving lady was really slow so while the coffee... More

It seemed very welcoming on arrival but we waited and waited. It wasn't full but people who arrived after us were being served, so we gave up and left! Menu looked good....

Food was very fresh and the salad freshly picked. The garden dining was lovely and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definately pop in again for lunch before we return to London - well done Moretons! !!

We had heard great things about Moreton Tea Rooms, and today we sampled it for the first time - we shall certainly be returning. My husband and I both had chicken escalope with mushroom sauce and vegetables - it was exceptionally good! A really tasty dish. The tea rooms themselves are delightful, and there are some really interesting old pictures... More

On a good day, we ate in the garden and the food was plenty. The service is slower than normal, but you don't go here to rush.

Visited Moreton Tearooms on Sunday 12th February with my wife and son. This cafe is a little delight. My family had a Dorset cream tea each and I had a slice of coffee and walnut cake. We each had tea to wash it down. The cafe is set in the village of Moreton which is somewhat off the beaten track... More
