There are only 4 bad reviews of this place, and they are all old. We were here in March of 2017 and this place was great! Gian-Luca, our waiter, was so friendly and helpful... he was amazing. Thanks to him, we discovered a secret local pizza place that was a fabulous find that is usually only for locals, but we... More

The food was fresh/seasonal and beautifully prepared. We enjoyed the flavors of Tuscany and great wines selected by Nehri to accompany our meals. Nehri is a wonderful host, he made us feel comfortable and welcomed and he had great suggestions for everyone at the table.

We had dinner at C'era Una Volta on the recommendation of the owner of the villa where we were staying. He said the restaurant had very good traditional Tuscan dishes and he was right. Unfortunately, we ate there the last night we were staying in the area, otherwise we would have gone back a second time. The diverse menu is... More

Good food, but rather small portions. Not very relaxed atmosphere. If you like elegant restaurants this place is ok, but not for families with small children.

We were there for lunch and were the only ones in the restaurant. The view and the food was wonderful. The restaurant has been around for almost 100 years and it is easy to see why.

The food is simple but it has a great taste. I am actually a vegan, which I thaught made it difficult to order something, but they have good stuff for anyone :) We went twice in three days, of which one day it was closed. The first night we had the mixed salad (it was just good and fresh. For... More

Our third trip to Tuscany over a 10 year time period and this restaurant never fails to deliver: on food, service and an amazing view from the terrace! Food is simple, fresh and carefully prepared, cooked and presented. One of the best locations for excellently cooked meat from the classic Florentine steak to Guinea fowl(Faraone). Definitely try the deep fried... More

Awesome Fiorentina Steak! I wanted to go in a rustic place for a real steak and on my way I saw the name and got interested to. The terrace has an amazing view and we got served fast by Silvia that explain the menu and the wine list ( she doesn't drink wine but she knows enough..). After, the boy... More

The view over the landscape was breathtaking. Very friendly waiter. The food was good but superb. I've eaten better in this region.
