I went there after being sent pictures of the more than 30 "guisados" (main dishes) available. The place is humble and right off the road but, they make their tortillas by hand and they did have so many options to make tacos with! Their "licuados" (milk shakes) were "the best ever" according to one of my younger companions. We did... More

We stopped after diving in a Cenote near by and it was a very nice local meal. Tons of flavors, tons of choices, tons of condiments... we were not the one paying, but great value for sure! right off teh highway on your way to Talum... I would strongly reccomend that place!

We visited El Arbolito twice during our week long stay on Xpu Ha. It was easy to get to, being just south of Puerto Aventuras and right off 307. The flavors are great. We enjoyed chicken mole and verde, pork verde, cochinita, beef bistec mexicana, and carne asada. We also had an egg taco that I believe was chorizo and... More

Now we know why all the locals recommend this place, the wonderful food and the great prices. There are a lot of choices, but we only tried two types, huevos con chorizo, and huevos con Chaya. 40 pesos for 4. The delicious tortillas are fried on site. It is a clean place, None of the staff speaks English, and the... More

I've eaten at a lot of taco bar stands throughout Mexico and there is nothing wrong with this place but nothing stands out. I've been there three times and each time I had a different type of taco which so that makes nine different tacos and not one was special. The selection is great, the people friendly, food inexpensive and... More

Wife and I wanted to get away from all inclusive and experience local flavor. If you have a rental car this place is easy to find and get to. It's right along the service road of highway 307 in Puerto Aventuras. We stopped there on our way back from the Tulum Ruins.Between my wife and myself we had 9 tacos... More

They have amazing tacos. They serve them with rice and beans, which is different than a lot of other places. When you walk up, whatever is available for the day is behind a glass case in pots. There are 10-15 options and vegetarian options as well. The food is authentic, and really tasty. The cochinita pibil was shredded pork in... More

When I come to Mexico, I love places like this. Delicious assortment of tacos and a full range of salsas in al fresco, easy dining. Que sabroso! It's great street food, easily accessible from the highway.

Street food at its finest. Our dive master took us there for breakfast tacos on the way to diving the Cenotes. I had the huevos, papas con chorizo, and chochinita pibil tacos. So amazing. Leave 5th Ave and go here! I'm just saying...

If you see this place you'll probably drive past, it just looks like a bit of a run down shack on the edge of the highway, but stop and go in! The food is amazing, ladies making fresh, light, floury tortillas in the open kitchen and a huge selection of delicious toppings all with a home made taste. The stuffed... More
