We go to this restaurant often. It has the best deep fried clams around. They're chicken rappie pie is awesome also. Unless you are a very, very big eater, get the small. We usually just get a large and share.

We stopped at the Roadside Grill for lunch a few days ago and it was very warm and cozy. It was a very chilly December day and the restaurant was lovely - lots of great comfort food on the menu for a cold winter day. The service was great and the owners friendly. I have eaten there many times before... More

Stopped for lunch, looking for a lighter meal. We chose to go with two Bacon Cheeseburger's and share a Large Order of Fries and Onion Rings. We each had a soda which is served as a can of soda. The meat in each of our hamburgers was very small, dry and overdone. The bacon was minimal. The cheese, lettuce and... More

We stopped in based on the reviews. We hoped there would be seafood chowder but there was only fish chowder and clam chowder. We had a cup of clam chowder that consisted of 2 clams and a whole lot of potatoes and bland broth. We did kind of enjoy our small order of clams, they were fresh but not that... More

Unfortunately we didn't get to try the Rapure. It's their signature dish in the Acadian area, but unsure if we would like it or not cause a number of reviews have said it's not for everyone. We had their fried clams, fried haddock, and clam burger. They were all yummy.

We had the rappure beef pie. it can be eaten with salt, ketchup, butter, sugar, molasses.taste great with whatever u put on. But only put on one at a time. The deep fried clams dish are huge,so,order accordingly. Milksakes are good value for your money.Service is really quick and efficient

You've got to stop at the Roadside Grill the locals told us - you'll love it! So we did! And yes we loved it. Quaint & probably still in original condition - which added to the fun! Apparently the best place to taste authentic local Acadian food! Try the rupure pie & the coconut cream pie!

Excellent seafood in an immaculate, fresh and casual dining along the western southern shores of Novia Scotia's Acadian shores. Fourteen to 20 years ago we'd stopped impromptu to have a meal here and I'd never forgotten how good the fresh seafood was. They also have a lovely view of the water looking out the window. The strawberry shortcake was homemade... More

The staff was wonderful, the fish was not so good. There were three of us and two of us were sick after we left. The fish tasted old, one of the people in my party left hers on the plate. The fries were delicious and the portions were big. The clams were also delicious. The slaw was very good. May... More
