Had an impromptu lunch in

Had an impromptu lunch in the pub’s outdoor area - staff were fab, very conscientious around COVID rules, and the food and drinks were great. Highly recommend!

Regular evening meal

The Bell is our favourite pub to visit for an evening meal. The food is awesome and very tasty. The bar staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. This is how a pub should be. Try it and you won’t be disappointed.

Great pub and really good food

Stopped here for lunch. Good selection of beer and the food was really good. Had the pie and it was one of the best I have had. Will definitely be back again.

Great pub with a fantastic atmosphere

Went to see the Bay Horse boys play. Great atmosphere and warm welcome. The food looked good too. Great for groups, families or couples. Beautiful old pup and friendly staff.

Delicious BBQ Fish

I recently visited The Bell with family for lazy supper. To our delight, in addition to the traditional pub menu, we were treated to BBQ’d fish. The food was fresh and tasty, with the fish perfectly cooked. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit!

Google maps says 63 miles from central London, that takes around 1 hour 35 minutes. The pub is in a rural location and you can probably dismiss any thought of using public transport to get there. A train from London would... More
