We were given a friendly and informative greeting which neither scared the crap out of us or felt bossy (both experiences we have had elsewhere recently). Then shown to a large table with room around us under the canvas of the marquee outside where we...More

Had an impromptu lunch in the pub’s outdoor area - staff were fab, very conscientious around COVID rules, and the food and drinks were great. Highly recommend!

The Bell is our favourite pub to visit for an evening meal. The food is awesome and very tasty. The bar staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. This is how a pub should be. Try it and you won’t be disappointed.

First time here yesterday and pleasantly pleased. An old shabby pub which adds to its charm quite a surprise as it's much larger than it looks from the outside. No set tables and no reservations and no Sunday roast 9which makes a change) the menu...More

I recently visited The Bell with family for lazy supper. To our delight, in addition to the traditional pub menu, we were treated to BBQ’d fish. The food was fresh and tasty, with the fish perfectly cooked. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit!
